1972 GMC 2500 4X4 Custom Deluxe

Big Red never fails to turn heads and stop traffic!  This is one beastley tough and great looking truck!

Reds body was taken down to bare metal, epoxy coated, primed and painted to the beautiful glossy red finish. New windshield and gasket along with door and window weather stripping were installed.

The original grill is in great shape. New chrome bumpers, marker lights and emblems top off the red finish.

The interior looks great with the original embossed seat cover, New carpet, sill plates, Dash pad and nice original door panels. The instrument panel is new as well as the gauges, all lights and gauges work. The custom steering wheel is new. I did notice the horn was inop. A custom AM/Fm radio was purchased to keep the dash original!  This GMC came from the factory with air conditioning. It is all still intact excpt for the compressor.

Big Reds powerplant is a strong running 350 cid engine reported to have 50k on the rebuild. It has an aluminum intake, 4 barrell carb, RV cam, headers and duel exhaust. The transfer case has been replaced along with a new flex plate and torque converter.

The drive line has been completley rebuilt. Front and Rear Diffs all rebuilt. New drivelines, U joints, Yokes, Springs, Ubolts,CV Joints. 4 Inch lift no blocks used. New ball joints. New brakes, drums and lines.

Big Red runs down the road like a dream. No shakes or vibrations! Steers and stops great a pleasure to drive!

To top it all off Red rolls on custom wheels wrapped with LT305-70-16 Mickey Thompson radials. WOW!
