1947 Dodge Power Wagon

1947 Power Wagon, VERY RARE!

About this vehicle:

The Dodge Power Wagon was released in 1946 and was a do-all, haul-all vehicle and was commonly bought and used by high end industrial jobs such as aviation, drilling and telephone pole setting. The sales pitch by Dodge upon introduction in 1946 was "The Dodge Power-Wagon is without competition. No other truck manufacturer offers a model that is at all comparable. The Dodge Power-Wagon was designed and built to meet a definite need. It is a vehicle built for continuous operation under extreme conditions. Four-wheel-drive gives it tractive ability for off-the-road service that would stall an ordinary truck. It takes you places you wouldn't expect any truck to go." This Power Wagon is on a clean California title and has all original miles of just under 65,000. The engine is all an original 230 CI flathead 6 with Zenith Carbs and an Offenhauser Intake. Between 1946-1968 only about 100 of these trucks were produced for the public and are very difficult to locate in such driveable condition.
