1966 Thunderbird Convertible

1966 was the last year for the "classic" Thunderbird convertible.

    According to the previous owner, this Thunderbird was purchased at a classic car dealership that had it advertised as a one owner original car with under 60,000 miles. Since then, it has had extensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration. Please let all the pictures load, (there are over 120) to see the beautiful condition of this classic Ford. The pictures really don't do this car justice, you have to see it in person!  We don't know everything that has been done to it over the years, what follows is what we do know.  It was repainted (base coat/clear coat) in the original color (Sapphire Blue), the paint is excellent, probably better than when new. A new top was installed at the same time  and it has new emblems, mirrors and door handles. The engine, transmission, suspension and brakes were serviced with many new parts installed.  The interior was redone with seat covers and carpeting.  The trunk and undercarriage are original and in exceptional condition. The car has power steering, power brakes, power top, power windows, AM radio and slide away steering wheel.  The 390 V-8 engine runs terrific and it rides like new!  All gages, lights, signals, heat, radio, power top, wipers and windows are fully operational.

Please remember that this car is 47 years old and not perfect. The paint has some VERY MINOR imperfections too small to see in the photos and the interior door panels have some cracks.
