We are Midnite Motor Classics of Margate, Florida, and we've been in business in South Florida since 1991. We began selling vehicles online in April of 2002 and have sold clean, quality used vehicles to numerous eBay motors customers. We sell all kinds of vehicles, but we specialize in low mileage, Florida cars in very good to excellent condition. Florida has a large senior and "snowbird" population - people who don't do a lot of driving. We search the state to find these cars for eBay.

Buying a vehicle on eBay can be a fantastic way to get the car you want at a great price, without the haggling or high-pressure salesmen at you local dealership. Should you choose to travel to Florida to take delivery of your vehicle, we offer free pick-up service at the Ft. Lauderdale airport.

Here's a great opportunity to own a very well preserved classic luxury sedan. This is an excellent example of a 1996 Lincoln Town Car Signature.

 This Signature model looks fantastic, runs and rides great, and comes with a full a compliment of luxury and convenience features. This is a lifetime Florida car that has had just one previous owner.

Midnite Motor Classics has been in business in South Florida since 1991, and we have been listing cars on eBay since 2002. In that time, we have bought and sold dozens of Town Cars (probably into the hundreds). This one ranks among the nicest we have ever seen, regardless of model year or miles.

 

This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION - High bidder will win the car.

 

Looks great from any angle. Exterior features include Lacey Spoke aluminum wheels, a cloth carriage roof and chrome accent moldings.

The exterior is in excellent shape. The paint shines like new all around. There aren't any notable dents or dings.

Carfax shows no accident history or any other problems. You can view the Carfax vehicle history report at the bottom of the descritpion.

Note that there are "Tournament Edition" badges on the car. This was not a factory option, but probably a dealer-installed appearance package that included the carriage roof, chrome moldings and gold emblems.

The carriage roof is also in excellent shape.

 The interior is also in excellent condition. The leather seats have no rips, burn marks, or tears. The dash and door panels are also in great shape.

Both front seats have power controls, and the driver's seat has 2 memory settings.

The rear seat is clean and comfortable.

This Signature Town Car has some nice luxury and convenience features: Power windows, locks, and mirrors; Remote entry; JBL AM/FM/Cassette Stereo; Tilt wheel; Cruise control; Trip computer/Driver Information Center;  Compass Display; Auto climate control air conditioning; Steering effort control; Rear defrost, and much, much more.

Safety features include dual air bags, traction control and anti-lock brakes.

There are no burn marks, there is no smoke odor, and the lighter looks
like it was never used.

The manual is with the car.

 There's plenty of space in the trunk. This Town Car has a full-sized spare tire mounted on a matching alloy wheel.

The 4.6 liter V8 runs as well as it did when it was new.

Its rated at 210 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque - plenty of smooth power for navigating through city traffic or passing on the highway.

Being a lifetime Florida car, its not rusted out like many northern cars are. The underside is clean, with no fluid leaks.

The car currently has 111,157 miles on it. This car could be driven, so it might have more miles by the time the auction is over.

Notice to Bidders

We are a licensed and bonded auto dealer in Florida.

Please read our description and all other information completely and view all the pictures carefully before you bid on this auction to ensure you are knowledgeable about the vehicle you are bidding on.

The vehicle description above is for informational and narrative purposes only. NOTE: When buying a used car, one should expect a certain amount of wear, use and flaws that one would not expect from buying a new car. A vehicle that is 8 years old will show more wear than one that is 3 years old. etc, etc...We attempt to list all known imperfections on vehicles that we sell on eBay Motors. We do not list very minor dings, rock chips or scratches which are common on used vehicles. ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS unless otherwise noted. Vehicles with remaining warranty must be handled between purchaser and new car dealer. We occasionally buy our cars from new car dealers, and in some cases the dealer has to make a payoff to a finance company and wait for the title, which could be delayed up to 15 days.
As we are located In Florida, we are required to title a vehicle "Exempt" in miles if the car is 10 years or older. The miles listed is the actual reading from the cars odometer.  
We do not reveal reserve price amounts, so please don't ask. We prefer to see all auctions through to the end in order to get the best price for a vehicle. We are a dealer however, and all vehicles are for sale to the public. We therefore reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back.

Payment and Fees

We will add a $249 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. This is to cover the cost of vehicle cleaning, phone calls, Fed-Exing of packages and other document handling costs. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee.

You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for full purchase price. We will accept paypal for the deposit only. If you are the winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up . If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter.

If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay applicable sales tax and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident, you will be required to register the vehicle in your home state at your own cost, including registration fees, inspection fees and sales taxes applicable to your state.

If you are seeking financing, please be sure to hold off on your bid until your funding has been approved. I DO NOT ACCEPT BANK DRAFTS OF ANY KIND. You are responsible for your own finance arrangements so please take care of them before bidding.

With notice, we are more than happy to pick up our winning bidder at Ft Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) during regular operating hours. Monday - Friday 9-4 (Saturday by Appointment).
