1979 CADILLAC COUPE DEVILLE

BEING SOLD WITH "NO RESERVE PRICE"

I am the second owner of this nice Cadillac. I really don't want to part with it but I need to sell it since I just recently moved and no longer have the storage space for it.  I am unable to keep up the maintenance as I would like to. This car has always been kept inside a garage and never driven during the winter. It was purchased by me about 18 years ago from an elderly man who was the original owner that had taken excellent care of it. I have the original paperwork and owners manual on the car.

It was repainted about 10 years ago and had a new vinyl top installed.  The paint job looks fairly good for being done 10 years ago but does have a few flaws that come from age. It does have a few dings, small scratches, chips, and some very small dents that aren't very noticeable and could easily be repaired. It hasn't been exposed to the hot sun as it has always been stored inside a garage with a car cover over it.

It has working power windows and power driver seat. The seats are leather and have some normal wear from age as the photos will show.

The power trunk and antenna are disconnected, so the trunk opens manually and the antenna stays up, but everything still works fine.

It has a nice set of Kumho tires all around on American racing rims. There is a spare tire stored in the trunk. Tires have very good tread on them but could use rotation. A four piece stem value cover set, with the Cadillac emblem, are also included.

There is a complete working and very cool sounding stereo system included with this car that has been professionally installed. The amplifier brand is an Alpine that is connected to a coil capacitor that helps store extra energy. It is hooked up to two 10" Audio Acoustics sub woofers in a custom built box that is mounted inside the trunk.  There are also two 6"x 9" Pioneer speakers in the back and two 4"x 6" speakers in the front dash. Stereo runs by a remote control that is included.

I am also including an extra transmission with very low mileage. It came from another 1979 Cadillac that I had as a parts car.

Also included are a few other spare parts that are in the trunk.

The side and wheel well molding has been replaced and is not original to the car, but could easily be redone to restore it back to original condition if you want.

It does have high mileage, mostly highway miles, but is in good running condition. It drives and handles very nicely and is a pleasure to drive anywhere with a smooth ride.
The engine has been very well maintained.  The valve covers were recently cleaned out with new gaskets installed. The air conditioning unit and pullys have been removed which actually helped lighten the weight of the car to improve the gas mileage (aprox 20+ mpg). Air conditioning could easily be re-installed if you wanted it.

I have kept this car well maintained and it is a very nice collectible car that just needs a little TLC. I'm sure whoever buys this car will love it and enjoy owning it as much as I have for the past 18 years.

Car is being sold in "as is" condition which I have tried to describe to the best of my knowledge.
