MG - MGTD 1953 - FOR RESTORATION

This is a 1953 MGTD TD2 1250cc roadster numbers matching, that I have had owned for many years.  I realize that I probably won't get to the project any time soon, so I have decided to offer it for auction.  The car is very solid  and complete, missing only the following . . .

rear bumper and over rides

front bumper over rides

cockpit cover

misc. nuts and bolts

hand crank

carpet and trim

overall I'd say it is 97% complete

The body panels will require some attention but are very solid. The frame is SOLID as this car has been garaged for over 40 years. There is a top mechanism, and there are side curtains as well.  The engine has not run in about five years, turns over by hand no problem as it was driven into the garage.  I have a clear Ontario title. Dash guages and switches all present and in good condition, no rips or tears in seats, soft top is in good condition with one small repair done, missing the snaps, no air has been added to the tires in over 30 years. It will require wood and metal work repairs to the tub, and inner wheel arches. View pictures. I have the repair panels for rockers  both sides that are included in the sale. The vehicle is all together and ready for shipping. I will remove and box any parts that I feel may get lost or damaged during shipping.
