I will try to provide as much information as possible.This was our family car. Excellent car, very reliable, well maintained. I'm the 2nd or 3rd owner. I bought it from an elderly couple from Rhode Island in 2007. I have all the maintenance paper work, since we purchased it in 2007.
1998, S70 Base with 184,xxx miles. Auto, 5cyl engine. ABS brakes, Airbags, Heated Seats :), Power Seat and windows. Cold AC. New Battery still in warranty. New Serpentine belt. Tires are Michelins from Costco with lifetime service and also still in warranty. Spare is a full size Michelin as well. New ceramic brakes about a year old. Routine maintenance transmission service at the dealership. Fresh oil change. Car needs nothing. Excellent car for the family or as a first car for your kid. It's a Volvo...built like a tank. If you want performance try Porsche, and if you want cheap try xxxx....but if you want safety than Volvo is it. That's why I bought it for my family. It's not the prettiest but its very reliable and I've taken great care of the car. Milege is mostly highway commute and shouldn't be a factor, because the maintenance has been done. The title is in my name and I have it. Don't know what else to say....Plz email with any questions or concerns.

Volvo confirms unnamed US model reveal for NY show
Thu, 21 Mar 2013Tucked into the press release for the "display debut" of the Volvo V60 Plug-In Hybrid at the New York Auto Show, Volvo snuck in a single line announcing that it will also be introducing a new model for the North American market. As much as we'd love to see the svelte V40 on American roads, we're pretty sure the automaker is looking to fill its US station wagon void with the V60.
The 2014 Volvo V60 is part of a comprehensive lineup update that was unveiled earlier this month in Geneva, and it would give Volvo dealers a conventional wagon (not including the XC70) for the first time since the V70 and V50 were killed off. We'll still be keeping our fingers crossed for the stylish V40 hatchback or the fuel-efficient V60 diesel hybrid, but we have to wait until next week to find out for sure.
Volvo promises new direct-injected diesels, 8-speed auto
Tue, 09 Apr 2013As a part of eliminating its dependence on Ford platforms and powertrains, Volvo has previously announced information about its Volvo Engine Architecture (VEA) and Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA), but now we're finally getting some details about what will power some of the Swedish automaker's next-generation products.
The biggest key to VEA on the diesel engines is a new technology Volvo calls i-ART. This system uses unique injectors at each cylinder capable of monitoring fuel pressure and adjusting accordingly to maximize fuel economy and performance and reduce emissions. Looking ahead, Volvo says its four-cylinder engines will be able to offer the power of a six-cylinder and eventually, mixed with some sort of electrification, will be able to rival the performance of a V8 and "turn V8s into dinosaurs."

Volvo working on ultra-lux four-seat XC90 for China?
Tue, 09 Sep 2014In China, it's all about being driven. That's why we've seen so many automakers stretch their most popular models to appeal to buyers in the Chinese market. Volvo is certainly no stranger to this, and according to Autocar, the company is already working on a super-lux, four-seat version of its recently launched XC90 crossover.
Volvo won't stretch the XC90 and just increase second-row legroom, however. Instead, the company will reportedly remove both the standard XC90's second and third row benches, and install a duplicate set of front seats in the rear compartment, featuring the same electric adjustment features, including massage. These more luxurious thrones will be placed further back in the vehicle, allowing for "exceptional" legroom, Autocar reports, without needing to stretch the wheelbase.
Mum's the word on when we can expect to see the high-zoot Volvo arrive, though the magazine estimates that it surface later this year.
