Up for sale the best car ever built in the history. They call it "The Tank" as it is the most reliable car in the entire planet. This unit with only 181xxx miles, will go easy another 150,000 + more miles. Don't believe me? Ask someone that have one... It will never die. That's probably the respond you'll get.
100% rust free, no dents, no dings, no leaks, no nothing, everything works! It has the inspection sticker valid till September 2013. It has a new Sony radio CD/AM/FM with IPod hook up with charger, A/C, heated seats, tires have 85% left, new brakes, it has an automatic transmission that shifts smooth and very well, the engine is a very strong 2.3L that has no leaks what so ever. Over all, it is very very clean inside and outside "you can litterally leak the engine and you will not taste dirt" It is in prestine conditions. It really is a great car!
Realistically, it is a 21 years old car but, you will barely find anything out of place. There is one very small paint spot gone and one of the hub wheel cover is missing (see pictures). You may find one tiny scratch here and there but I'm pretty sure you wont even notice it. Other than that it is in impecable conditions. It makes aprox. 370 miles per tank on the highway and around 275 miles locally.
I am a Volvo 240 and an old car enthusiast and I'm selling this beauty because I have too many cars and wify is pushing me to sell some. I'm the second owner of this car and I bought it from a dealership in Weymouth, MA back on October 12, 2009 with 166,000 miles. The original owner kept record of every single receipt of mantainace since he bought it brand new and still, since I ever had it, it have used premium Shell fuel and it have had the oil and oil filter changed every other month along with all necesary mantainance that have had required. I also have a brand new original fuel filter that will go with it.
If you are interested in it bid with confident and if you have any questions or want to see more pics, you can call me (Tony) at 7876306639 and/or contact me over the e-mail at: a r o s a j r 0 3 2 9 0 9 @ g m a i l . c o m (Se habla Espa~ol)

LOLVO Volvo V60 video leverages the power of cats on cars
Wed, 02 Jul 2014You know what we haven't posted in a long time? A very weird, car-related video. It's high time we address this failing.
As strange videos go, this one is truly bizarre. The two-minute clip focuses on the Volvo V60 R-Design, although you're not going to be learning anything about the car. Instead, you're going to be focused on the weird narrator (and the cat decals on the windows).
It's like someone taught the Swedish Chef to speak English, but with a ridiculous accent and a script that's been fed through Google Translate. The result is a weirdly cerebral voice speaking in a manner that borders on gibberish mixed with information about the car. We're particularly fond of, "In accordance with Volvo tradition... the car... is... of course... furnished, with an inside." "Floor bibs," in reference to the floor mats, was an office favorite, as well.
Volvo denies boss Jacoby is taking a run at Opel CEO post
Tue, 07 Aug 2012It seems that every news report that involves the name "Opel" is eventually followed by a report that says, "Uh, never mind." Executives fill positions, then they're gone, or they're supposed to fill positions but duck out before doing so, five-year product offensives turn into grabbing for life preservers, and turnaround plans are followed by... new turnaround plans. With the recent departure of Opel CEO Karl-Friedrich Stracke, Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri reported that Volvo CEO Stefan Jacoby topped the list of candidates to sit in Opel's very hot seat.
Volvo spokesman Stefan Elfstrom has piped up to say "Mr. Jacoby is fully occupied with running Volvo and has no plan for leaving his present job." Stranger things have happened, though, and who knows what the truth is, but we have to admit we'd be surprised if Jacoby jumped off the Volvo express - recently given an $11-billion boost by parent company Geely - to take his chances in the Opel maelstrom.
So Opel's search for a CEO continues. At least we have the Adam to look forward to.
Volvo planning Golf rival, 'breathtaking' C60 coupe
Wed, 01 May 2013Despite just having refreshed nearly its entire portfolio, Volvo is still in the middle of a big product offensive. Vehicles like the C30 hatchback and C70 convertible have been given the axe, but a brand-new platform is being developed in addition to the Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA) that will underpin larger vehicles. According to Automobile, this means some very interesting newcomers may be on tap for the brand.
Volvo, in collaboration with Geely, is said to be working on a new platform about the size of a Volkswagen Golf that will likely spawn both a sedan and hatchback. Automobile reports that while the automaker's new scalable architecture is quite flexible, it cannot be stretched (or rather, shrunk) to accommodate a smaller vehicle.
Instead, SPA will be used for the company's larger offerings, starting with the V40 on the small end. (Though to our eyes, the current V40 looks plenty Golf-sized to us.) A new XC40 is apparently in the works, as is an S90 flagship, and new versions of the XC60, XC90 and S60 will all be coming based on this new flexible architecture.
