Who am I buying from? I'm a single mom and I'm selling this car by Faith knowing that God will provide for us. I believe he will replace the car. I will let nothing turn me aside from Christ. Nothing will turn me away from what is right and what is just.

I know what it's like to need and I know what it's like to have. I know what it's like to give and I know what it's like to receive. All types of crazy things have happened in my life but one thing I know for certain is you can't hold me down because Jesus is my leader.

Right now we have a problem with our society. We've become a generation of finger pointers almost never taking responsibility for anything. I've been a finger pointer but a miraculous thing happened, I Grew the Heck up! Look in the mirror and ask yourself "Do I need to grow the heck up?" Have I been blaming God, politicians, doctors, and teachers for all of my troubles? We all have unfair experiences in life. I've had enough to fill a warehouse but we've gotta shake it off and keep on going. Ask God for strength through Jesus to pull you through. In case you didn't know Jesus is the only way.

Now, now some of you may think I'm being judgmental and I'm some cold hearted bitter person. Nah I'm not. I'm just rather ticked that my refusal to sleep around with every TOM, DICK and HARRY has left a woman with all of my qualities in the lurch. It's OK though because I know the truth. Just about every man I've spoken to who has a long term "girlfriend" and a child has said they are leaving when the kid hits 18. Don't hate the messenger. That is soooo not happening here. Many women and men will be standing there looking like Boo Boo the fool because they put their faith in money instead of God.

I didn't want to put off making this hard and necessary decision so here is my 2003 VW Passat for sale. I have bills to pay and I have a responsibility to pay them. This will go towards getting everything current. It will also go towards my gear because rolling out looking tore up from the floor up isn't becoming for women. The great thing is I have freedom to choose how to use it.

Do I want to sell my car? No, but I'm tired of seeing people not doing what they need to do to make this Country a better place. Right now our citizens are scooping buckets of water out of the ocean and pouring it into the ship.

This car works great. The headlight bulbs, the alternator and the battery are pretty new. The speaker cover in the back is cracked, the dash isn’t as bright as it should be and the radio area is missing a button. The splash guard under the car isn’t there anymore and there is still a piece of plastic that needs to be removed from the splash guard. This has no effect on how the car runs. It’s all leather with heated seats and a moon roof. The mirrors on the sun visor are lighted. There are cup holders and lights in the back. There is also an ashtray thing in the back as well as the front but it’s hidden. It has a lot of trunk space and it’s pretty darn clean. It also has a built in shade in the back to guard your precious ones from getting sun burned. Smoke free, animal free car. It can be driven to you and delivered for an additional fee of a $1000. Volkswagen debuts MkVII-based diesel Golf GTD

As Volkswagen prepares for the launch of the seventh-generation Golf, it continues to show off some of the car's different variants. With the standard Golf and the ultra-efficient BlueMotion Concept out of the way, now we're finally starting to see some of the sportier versions planned for the hatchback. Confirmed for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen has now given us our first glimpse at the Golf GTD.
Just think of the GTD as a diesel version of the GTI with all the handling and styling upgrades, and then add a torquey engine to the equation. (We had the chance to sample the current GTD over the summer, so click here to read more.) To go with the new body style, VW also gave the GTD a new TDI engine consisting of a similar turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-liter inline-four layout but with an output of 184 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque - that's an increase of 14 hp and 22 lb-ft over the current GTD. That's a pretty good oomph, but the GTD won't be setting any acceleration records with VW quoting a 0-62 mile per hour time of 7.5 seconds thanks to the car's 3,036-pound curb weight.
The styling of the MkVII Golf lends itself quite well to the more aggressive body kit found on the GTD (and likely matching the GTI). The new front fascia and blacked-out grille give the GTD a sporty look up front, while 17-inch sport wheels, rocker panel extensions and smoked LED taillights finish off the visual changes. The GTD will only be offered in three exterior colors: Tornado Red, Black and Pure White. As expected, the interior gets the plaid seat inserts and flat-bottomed sport steering wheel, but the car also gets stainless steel pedals, a black headliner, ambient cabin lighting and a specific gauge cluster readout.

Volkswagen unveils sportier Passat Performance Concept ahead of Detroit debut

Ahead of its official unveiling at next week's Detroit Auto Show, Volkswagen has released some preliminary details and images of its Passat Performance Concept - a car that, as its name suggests, adds a little more spice to the automaker's midsize sedan formula. VW makes no mention of any production intent for this road-ready-looking sedan, simply stating that the Performance Concept is a way to "explore this practical four-door's sportier side."
It certainly doesn't look too sporty, the only visual upgrades being larger 19-inch wheels, dual exhaust, bi-xenon headlamps with VW's Advanced Front Lighting system, LED taillmaps and carbon-look mirror caps. Inside, there are carbon interior accents and two-tone leather upholstery. But no matter, the real upgrades for this mightier Passat are found below the sheetmetal.
Powering the Performance Concept is a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, churning out 250 horsepower and sending its grunt to the ground via a six-speed automatic transmission. For reference, that's 80 more horsepower than the Passat's base 2.5-liter inline-five, but 20 horsepower less than the potent 3.6-liter VR6. As for other performance upgrades, Volkswagen has fitted the car with a lowered sport suspension and revamped electronic steering, which should indeed add a bit more dynamic feedback to the already nice-driving sedan.

BMW, Ferrari, VW cars use tungsten mined by terrorists

Bloomberg Markets is reporting that BMW, Volkswagen and Ferrari have been using tungsten ore sourced from Columbia's FARC rebel terrorists. The extensive story focuses on Columbia's illegal mining trade and calls into question the provenance of the rare ore that is used not only in crankshaft parts production, but is also found in the world's computing and telecommunications industry for use in screens.
The ore is mined by the FARC (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia, or Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia - People's Army), and exported to Pennsylvania, where it is refined. The refined ore is then sent over to Austria, where a company called Plansee turns it into a finished product. Now, it's important to note that we aren't talking about the world's supply of tungsten here. In 2012, Plansee's American refinery purchased 93.2 metric tons of tungsten, valued at $1.8 million. That's peanuts, with the entire Colombian tungsten mining industry producing just one percent of the world's supplies.
That doesn't make indirectly supporting FARC any more acceptable, though. BMW, VW and Ferrari are all committed to not accepting mineral supplies from the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is also in the grips of a guerrilla insurrection funded, in part, by illegal mining. The same commitment would figure to extend to Colombian mining, but as BMW points out, it's difficult for a multi-national manufacturer to know where every item in its supply chain comes from. A company spokesperson says as much, telling Bloomberg, "These few grams out of the billions of tons of raw materials passing through the BMW supply chain are of no practical relevance."
