This is a 1999 Volkswagen Passat with 175,000 miles on it. It is a 5 speed stick shift with a newer clutch. This car ran great up until one day I got back from vacation and it started running funny. I believe it is a small issue like a bad sensor or fuse. Maybe Mass air-flow sensor or something. It could also be a dirty throttle body. I have codes from the diagnostic which say (power supply Terminal 30 Voltage too low)(Throttle body fault in basic settings)and (Throttle valve controller malfunction. The car ran and drove VERY smoothly. Shifts in and out of all gears perfectly. It has dual heated leather seats. Interior is in pretty good condition. Exterior has some minor flaws. It has some minor dents and very minor hail damage. It has good tires with a full size fairly new spare. One of the heated seats does not work, I was told by previous owner that it is just a fuse. It was just recently hit and run, in which the mirror was knocked off. Any further questions or want more pictures call or text 217 617 6546.

VW redoes A-ha's 'Take On Me' music video
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Volkswagen has been responsible for its fair share of witty, clever commercials. "Tiny Vader" might be the most popular, but somehow, we think this newest spot will find a big audience. VW delivers not so much a cover, but a reimagining, of 1980s Norwegian pop band A-ha's famous music video for "Take On Me."
The original opens with an animated motorcycle race, which is revealed to be part of a comic book. VW's version replaces the motorcycle with a Passat, which strikes us as an oddly sober choice when there are cars like the GTI and Beetle in VW's portfolio. But never mind that - take a look down below for the entire 46-second spot. For reference, we've also included the original music video. And if you aren't a fan of the musical stylings of A-ha, just think, VW's choice of 1980s music could have been much worse.
Help a couple drive their 1984 Vanagon around the world
Mon, 22 Apr 2013Meet Brad, Sheena and Nacho
Driving through China is a pricey proposition. The couple will need to pony up a staggering $19,514 just to cover the fees.
Brad and Sheena Van Orden are in the midst of a life-defining campaign to travel around the world, and they're doing it in a 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon custom built for the occasion. The past 15 months have seen the couple quit their jobs with Gore-Tex and drive from Arizona to the very southern tip of Argentina after spending a full two years saving and preparing for the trek. Now they're in southern Asia gearing up for the next leg of their journey.
Editors' Choice: Top Five 2013 Geneva Motor Show Debuts
Fri, 08 Mar 2013We've returned from a very busy week in Switzerland, and in going back over all of our 75 stories from the Geneva Motor Show, our editors have gathered up their personal favorite debuts from the European expo.
The wonderful thing about the Geneva show is just how wide of an array of vehicles are on display - everything from funny little one-off EVs to the most exotic of supercars to, well, truly ridiculous displays of coachbuilding. And because of that, this list of our editors' favorites might not be as predictable as you think.
But we don't want to give anything away just yet. Scroll down to have a look at our team's favorites from Geneva.
