Condition: clean inside and outside, southern car no rust, engine starts quick and runs smooth, transmission shifts tight and easy, paint is glossy, everything works, no Faults or DTC's, tires have approx 65% front 75% rear tread, break pads about 70%, no major issues. Normal wear all around the car expected for this age and miles: few dings and scratches, some tire noise, one crack of 1 inch on the drives seat, some painted buttons have bubbled up, 2 dents and some scratches on top of the trunk lid due to a bike rack previous owner had installed. Just installed New Windshield and New redone headliner. Car looks great and drives great otherwise.
For Sale by dealer: Land Auto Pro. I'm a licensed dealer and rebuilder in the state of GA. I work on VWs and Audis mostly and do both mechanical repairs and body work at my shop. I bought this car 2 years ago from an insurance company in FL. Car had very little damage and I posted a pic showing the car as I bought it. Front bumper was damaged cosmetically including the grill and radiator support all of which are plastics. I recuperate the front bumper and bought a new grill and radiator support. There was no frame damage; everything else on the car looks original no sign of prev body work or repaint. I sold the car back them to a friend of mine that moved back to FL and now he traded in for a newer car. I have the title on hand FL rebuild, No Liens. I have been driving the car myself for about 1k miles and it's great. Runs smooth and gets really good fuel economy. Has plenty of power to move around easy, has lots of options and looks clean in and out.
For out of state customers I can pick up at the Atlanta Airport: ATL. Instate customers are required to pay 6.5% TAVT for the book value of the vehicle specified by the DMV at $8750.00 even if the sale price might be lower.

Volkswagen Cross Up! aimed at rugged lifestyle folks, complete with plastic cladding
Wed, 06 Mar 2013If you thought there was nothing wrong with the Volkswagen Up! that a little body cladding wouldn't fix, you're in luck. VW has officially pulled the wraps off the production version of the Cross Up!, and its wheel arches and rocker panels are full of the black plastic cladding you've been yearning for.
In addition to the "particularly rugged design and tough, lifestyle qualities" that the cladding exudes, VeeDub has also seen fit to put its Cross Up! on a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels clad in 185/50-series tires. Inside, there are new kick plates to go along with a dash pad that can be had in red, black or silver.
All that cladding must equal additional off-road readiness, right? Well, sure... just so long as you're fine with the same 75-horsepower three-cylinder engine that all other Up! models also feature, along with a five-speed manual transmission sending power to the front wheels, again, just like all other Up! models. The Cross Up! appears to have a taller ride height than other models, but we haven't been able to find out what - if any - changes have been made.
Volkswagen breaks 40-year-old sales record in 2012
Sun, 13 Jan 2013The last time Volkswagen moved this many vehicles in America in one year, Richard Nixon was still a President in good standing, Let It Be was a radio hit and each car wearing the VW badge boasted an air-cooled engine. That's right, with a grand total of 580,286 vehicles sold in the US last year, the VW Group has broken its own four-decades-old sales record by 2,899 vehicles.
Of that 580k total sold, 438k were Volkswagens and 139k were Audi products - increases of 35.1 percent and 18.5 percent, respectively, in year-over-year sales. The ultra-premium members of the VW group also fared well; Bentley delivered 2,315 vehicles for a 23.3-precent increase, and Lamborghini delivered 520 units for a 52.9-percent jump. Bugatti, we're told is "right on track."
Jetta (pictured) sales paced the marque with 170k models sold, and Passat also finished very strong with sales of 117k total. Tiguan also racked up its best year on file, with 31,731 models shifted.
Skoda unveils Volkswagen Up!-based Citigo
Tue, 27 Sep 2011This is the all-new Skoda Citigo, and if you're thinking that it looks rather familiar, that's because its Volkswagen-badged kin recently debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. That's right, the long-rumored Skoda version of Volkswagen's new Up! city car has finally arrived.
Buyers will have a choice of two 1.0-liter three-cylinder engines - one with 59 horsepower, the other with a 74 hp and a blistering 106 mph top speed - both mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Powerful they are not, but these three-bangers should prove to be extremely efficient, with Skoda quoting fuel economy numbers of 62.8 and 60.1 miles per gallon, respectively (on the European cycle).
Being a Skoda, the Citigo will go on sale in its home market of the Czech Republic this fall, with the rest of Europe getting the car next summer. Follow the jump for Skoda's official release.
