2003 VW Jetta TDI Automatic 1 Owner!!! Extras available

I am at a point that I am going to have to let my jetta go :-( I bought this new in May of 2003 and have really enjoyed this car. For most of this time I used this as my daily commuter car (I have lived between 45 and 90 miles from the various jobs I have had since 2003) I have done the vast majority of the maintenance myself, with the exception of new tires.

This car has 220,xxx miles on it and runs like a top. That being said it does have a few issues and a few scrapes and scratches. I will do my best to list them below:

AC is not working (needs compressor clutch)
Airbag light is on (Vag-com says something like passenger side resistance to high or short to ground) The code was for the passenger side so I never looked into it
Remote control key fobs do not work (assume batteries are dead)
there are a few rock chips on the hood.
passenger side mirror is attached with a zip tie (heat and adjustments still work, just the mount cracked about 5 years ago
There is wear on the steering wheel from a pocket knife hitting it while getting in and out of the car (see pictures)

Upgrades or recent replacements:

Alternator
Starter
Original plastic skid plate broke so I replaced with a heavy duty aluminum one
Add on “Tank Heater” to plug it in on those really cold days

Timing Belt -- Due at 240,000 miles

J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners

Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?

Happy 60th to the VW Karmann Ghia

Volkswagen's product portfolio may be as extensive these days as any other carmaker in the business. But if you still think of the original Beetle as synonymous with the brand, that's probably because a) you're old and b) the Beetle was the company's only product until the mid-50s.
Sixty years ago Wilhelm Karmann (founder of the eponymous coachbuilder) was in Paris for the auto salon and met up with Luigi Segre and his team from Carrozzeria Ghia who showed him what was essentially a "Beetle in a sports coat." A month later they showed it to Volkswagen chief Heinrich Nordhoff who, setting aside his conservative tastes, approved it for production. And so the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was born, giving the German marque a second product line. It still used Beetle mechanicals and was built at the same Karmann factory in Onsabrück that was already assembling the Beetle Cabriolet.
It took another couple of years to put the design into production, but from 1955 to 1974, Volkswagen and Karmann built 362,601 coupes and 80,881 of the subsequent convertible that arrived in 1957. Today the Onsabrück factory is part of the VW Group, handling production of the Golf Cabriolet, XL1 and Porsche Boxster and Cayman, and with that original Karmann Ghia prototype as part of its factory collection.
