Well taken care of VW Jetta '02, 1.8L, 4 cylinder turbo-charged. Great fuel economy due
to the small engine, lots of power when needed due to the turbo charging of the engine.
All power windows / mirror/ locks / sunroof. Has aluminum wheels, CD / RDS radio, AC,
cruise control, Anti-Lock Brakes and Skid control, and full safety driver/ passenger and side airbags.

Great space  for family (we fit an x-large dog crate in the back and still had room for 4 people
and luggage).

Perfect cosmetically, no dents or scratches, color new and shiny (I washed and waxed it once
per month and has been kept in garage). Clean interior and winning bidder will also receive
the car with free detailing / interior steamed cleaning by professional shop.

Mechanically the engine runs perfect, all electrical windows / roof / AC work with no glitch.
A symptom that I have observed during the very cold days of winter is the reverse gear not
working immediately when the car starts, but after 3-5 min running the car and warming it up.
This probably needs a change in the transmission fluid which I am willing to give a discount
for given a mechanics estimate.

I was the 2nd owner and originally bought this car from dealer, the title is completely clean you
can run a check of the VIN. Not lien or any other attachments on the title. Local buyers can arrange
for thorough inspection and drive test.

I can ship the car in any state (buyer has to arrange for shipping) - I can accept paypal or bank wire
If buyer prefers to send check I will ship the car and title once the check clears (5-8 business days
from receipt and deposit of check, and the check has to be only from a major national bank). For
local buyers only cash will be accepted.

I am a 500 rating, 100% positive feedback seller. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thanks for looking !

VW debuts Get Happy Super Bowl ad

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

Brace yourself for another tidal wave of Super Bowl commercials. Volkswagen has released its spot for this year's big game. Set to air during the second quarter, the Get Happy spot follows one jubilant office worker as he makes his way through the day, spreading joy wherever he goes. The source of his happiness? A Volkswagen Beetle, of course. Now, if you're wondering why a gaggle of white guys are running around on your screen with Jamaican accents, it will help to know the spot is part of a larger Get Happy campaign featuring Jimmy Cliff.
The first ad in the series featured the artist singing his rendition of "C'Mon, Get Happy," complete with a little help from some notorious unhappy YouTube stars. You can take a look at the new ad before it airs below, along with the complete press release for a little more background.

Editors' Choice: Top Five 2013 Geneva Motor Show Debuts

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

We've returned from a very busy week in Switzerland, and in going back over all of our 75 stories from the Geneva Motor Show, our editors have gathered up their personal favorite debuts from the European expo.
The wonderful thing about the Geneva show is just how wide of an array of vehicles are on display - everything from funny little one-off EVs to the most exotic of supercars to, well, truly ridiculous displays of coachbuilding. And because of that, this list of our editors' favorites might not be as predictable as you think.
But we don't want to give anything away just yet. Scroll down to have a look at our team's favorites from Geneva.

Volkswagen Golf Wagon caught completely uncovered

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

Without a lot of information to go with them, our camera-toting spies have captured some new images of a Volkswagen Golf wagon variant that is almost completely undisguised. In fact, the one piece of camouflage on the tidy wagon would probably have gone unnoticed to most casual viewers. Look closely at the rear three-quarter view of the car and you'll notice that the apparent taillight clusters are actually fakes - the outline of the real units is faintly visible behind the blue bodywork and the sticker-like fake taillights.
It's a good guess then, that this Golf wagon (called a Golf Kombi by our spy photographer) is a prototype that's pretty far along in the development cycle for Volkswagen. We can't be sure what impact this will have on the company's small wagon offering here in the US, but we'd be pretty surprised if something very like this didn't end up as the next Jetta SportWagen. We might well have more information on that front, after we visit Geneva next week.
