Mother's Day Present gone a stray. My brother thought he would surprise his wife and relive their college days in
a Eurovan Winnebago. Kids are off to college and one has graduated. They are newly retired and he thought, why
not travel the country and stop at all the National Monuments and take in the countryside. WRONG!!! She is a
hotel person and had he asked me, he would have known that to be the case. Think, Mel Gibson and how he knew what
the women around him were thinking. Anyways, enough of that, he has entrusted me to sell this MINT 1995 Volkswagen
Eurovan, Winnebago. It even has the original data sheet from Winnebago Industries. It is finished in white on
gray. It has the rare and desirable middle row set of seats. The stove, sink and refrigerator all work. The
pop-top is in great condition. The screen on the passenger side has a slight tear(see photo and video). The
carpet and seats are all in great condition. The paint is smooth and clean. No paint rashes at all. The manual
transmission shifts nice and clean. The gas gauge has gremilins. Sometimes, it wants to cooperate and sometimes,
it does not according to the previous owner. The A/C components are all intact and accounted for. It will need a
conversion or recharge to blow cold. All the curtains are present and accounted for. The tires, although have
decent tread will need to be changed for winter driving if you want to camp in the winter, It even has a shower
spray nozzle to rinse off the campground muck. The timing belt, water pump and head has been changed. Clutch also
changed. All done withing the past 40k miles with receipt from the dealer. I could go on and on about this rare
gem. However, if you have found this ad, you already know what you are looking for and how rare a find this is

Skoda unveils Volkswagen Up!-based Citigo
Tue, 27 Sep 2011This is the all-new Skoda Citigo, and if you're thinking that it looks rather familiar, that's because its Volkswagen-badged kin recently debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. That's right, the long-rumored Skoda version of Volkswagen's new Up! city car has finally arrived.
Buyers will have a choice of two 1.0-liter three-cylinder engines - one with 59 horsepower, the other with a 74 hp and a blistering 106 mph top speed - both mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Powerful they are not, but these three-bangers should prove to be extremely efficient, with Skoda quoting fuel economy numbers of 62.8 and 60.1 miles per gallon, respectively (on the European cycle).
Being a Skoda, the Citigo will go on sale in its home market of the Czech Republic this fall, with the rest of Europe getting the car next summer. Follow the jump for Skoda's official release.
VW Up Buggy may be headed to showrooms
Tue, 02 Jul 2013Volkswagen showed six conceptual takes on its Up at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, one of those being the Up Buggy. Although few will probably remember it, VW has not forgotten it, applying for a patent for the Meyers Manx revival roadster way back in March 2012 and being approved in June of this year, according to a report in Autocar. That will give the automaker a 14-year lock on the design while it decides whether to move forward with a reboot of its past.
A patent doesn't mean the Up Buggy will ever move beyond the sheet-of-paper stage, but Autocar says VW is studying the market to see if a production version is feasible. We can't see North America ever getting it, but even so, we wouldn't complain if they made it - especially if they put an exposed engine in back that was set off by 18-inch-long twin tailpipes jutting straight up into the air. However, for a company that aims to be the world's number-one automaker by 2018, a niche vehicle for its mass-market brand would be a surprising use of resources.
Volkswagen Golf Variant will make a lovely Jetta SportWagen
Tue, 05 Mar 2013In addition to several other versions of the Golf, Volkswagen is debuting the new Golf Variant (read: wagon) here at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. And if this bigger version of the Golf looks like it might fit right at home in the States, it's because we could possibly see some version of this car as the next-generation Jetta SportWagen here on our shores.
Volkswagen is debuting the Golf Variant with two efficient diesel engines, rated at 110 and 150 horsepower, the smaller of which is good for an impressive 71.3 miles per gallon on the European cycle (when mated to a six-speed manual transmission). The Golf Variant also gets a version of Volkswagen's 4Motion all-wheel-drive system, making it incredibly all-weather capable.
It's a handsome estate, and it wears the new Golf's design language well. We can't say for sure if this car will actually make its way Stateside, but given the fact that the current Jetta SportWagen still rides on the old Golf platform, the odds look to be in our favor.
