Leather Heated Seats

Power windows
Moon Roof
Custom Hub Caps
New Alternator 2012
New Battery 2012
MP3/Ipod Hook up/CD deck installed
Oil Changes every 3 mo/3000 miles.

Problems:
Window needs new harness/wiring. The window (driver side) isn't "broken" but the wires have worn out and need to be replaced so that it can go up and down again. Moon roof and passenger window work.

Check Engine Light is on, took it to a mechanic and they said it's because of the 02 sensor, So that also would need to be taken care of. (Supposidly there is a short or fuse that needs to be replaced)

Other than those two things, there is really only minor wear and tear on the vehicle. There are minor scratches, One scratch on left back side, small rust/chip spot on front hood, just need touch up paint and it will be fine, I wash my car regularly and wax it at least twice a year.

I just don't have the time to figure out what it needs to be "perfect" again, I'm a student and can't afford it either.

Price is not firm, but will only take REASONABLE offers. This car is truly a good car, and has been well taken care of.

Feel free to call/email me about the car, serious inquiries only please.
Also texting is probably the fastest way of getting ahold of me.

Volkswagen to add 50k jobs by 2018

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

Volkswagen still has its eyes set on becoming the top global automaker by 2018, and to get there, it's apparently going to need more boots on the ground. Automotive News Europe is reporting that VW is looking to increase its staff by 50,000 over the next five years - an increase of nine percent - which does not include an increase in its US dealer network.
According to the report, a majority of the growth will come from China where the automaker is also looking to double its production capacity in the same time frame. The Volkswagen Group is already expected to rival General Motors for the top sales spot in China this year, and such a rapid expansion in the region could make a good springboard for sales increases in other countries.

VW builds 250,000th Passat in Chattanooga in just two years

Sun, 26 May 2013

It hasn't been without incident or union organizing drive, but the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, TN has built its 250,000 Passat in just a little over two years. The Night Blue Passat TDI with black leather has come just two years and five weeks after the first customer car came off the line on April 18, 2011.
In the last year the plant operated at the 150,000-unit capacity that it was intended for, but the downturn in Passat sales and subsequent worker layoffs mean it will be a challenge to repeat the feat. The plant does have the world's largest solar park, though, and you can't take that away from them.
You'll find the official hand-clapping in the press release below.

VW makes $23K on every Porsche sold, more than Bentley or Lamborghini

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

It's a good time to be in the luxury car business. In Volkswagen Group's financial report for the 2013 fiscal year, it is revealed that that Porsche enjoyed an operating margin of 18 percent. That means the Stuttgart brand made on average about $23,200 per car sold, according to BusinessWeek. Bentley wasn't far behind, and Audi (which was combined with Lamborghini) posted a 10.1 percent margin. This compares to only around 2.9 percent for the Volkswagen brand.
"Luxury brands are on fire," said Dave Sullivan, an industry analyst at AutoPacific. He said that the average profit margin is between six and eight percent. Brands like Porsche and Bentley have the benefit of competing in rarefied markets. Buyers looking at one their vehicles have fewer models to shop against and don't care as much about price. They can also charge more for options, which further boosts income, according to BusinessWeek.
In a way, we should be more impressed by the continued success from Audi. Its models generally have direct competitors in every segment from the other premium automakers. Plus, their buyers aren't the captains of industry who are shopping for a Bentley. Still, the Four Rings is leading rivals in sales so far this year.
