1965 Volkswagen Beetle Project. I just don't have the time to complete it. It comes with the doors, hood, and trunk also all the hardware. I also purchased front and back lights and new seats for it, have a new set of wheels for it and a extra front and rear end from a 1969 if you want it. The chassis was completely restored everything was redone including all the bushings, floor pans bearings, etc. The rear suspension of the chassis was also converted to IRS, from the old swing axle. IRS drives much better and is much more stable at higher speeds. The engine is a 1600 cc also pretty new, it has the dual carb kit installed on it already. Most of what is left is just the body work. I know I already have 100's of hours into it, all the body supports are new and rust free. The whole body was sprayed with an epoxy primer to prevent it from rusting. If you have any questions please ask, I also have more pictures if you would like to see more. I have a lot more into it than I'm asking. The finished picture is the look I was going for. I'm selling it as-is with no warranties. I also have a billet steering wheel, chrome steering shaft for it. Thanks for looking.

VW reveals Outback-rivaling Golf Alltrack ahead of Paris

The Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is getting a baby brother at this year's 2014 Paris Motor Show in the form of a new Golf Alltrack. Like its larger sibling, the little wagon is supposed to offer light-duty off-road driving ability combined with a more rugged look to show it off.
To give the Golf Alltrack that soft-road ability, VW is outfitting the wagon with its latest 4Motion all-wheel drive system from Haldex. The setup can decouple power from the rear-axle when not needed to save fuel. To further improve traction, the Alltrack gets VW's electronic differential lock, and the car can individually brake its inside wheel during hard cornering for better handling.
Volkswagen also wants the Alltrack to be able to visually show that it can handle getting away from the pavement, even though it starts life as a standard Golf wagon. That means jacking up the suspension an extra 0.75 inches and adding black moldings all the way around the car. There are also redesigned bumpers for the front and rear and silver underbody protection, plus new accents like anodized roof rails and silver mirror caps. The interior is essentially unchanged from the wagon, except for altered trim and Alltrack badges.

Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe is a green fun-machine we want to drive

Think back to January's Detroit Auto Show. Those of you that are fans of the Volkswagen brand, impressed with green technology or simply fall into the "diesel geek" category, will almost certainly remember VW's CrossBlue concept with its diesel/electric hybrid powertrain, seating for seven, and somewhat awkward crossover styling. It was an impressive piece of future tech, to be sure, though it left something to be desired in the, well, desirability department.
Here in Shanghai, VW has brought along a CrossBlue Coupe concept that would seem to include most of the goodness of the original, but flavored with more sport and style this time around.
The CrossBlue Coupe makes use of the same electric drive components as the larger three-row concept: two electric motors (front and rear) powered by a 9.8-kWh lithium-ion battery. However, where the original concept made use of a TDI four-cylinder, the Coupe substitutes a 295-horsepower, direct-injection, gasoline-burning V6.
