Nice Beetle! 50+mpg! FL car! Runs and drives great! Shows great!
Exterior Condition- The silver paint is very shiny and in good condition. The only notable damage is on the drivers door at the front, there is a dent that is approx. 4" (see pic). All of the other imperfections are noticeable under close scrutiny and are as follows: Clearcoat peeling on front bumper cover (several small areas about 2" each), light bug damage on hood, light scratch on left quarter (4"), two 6" scratches on the bumper cover, 1 small dime sized ding on the roof and hood. Sounds like a lot but I am just being thorough, again these are noticeable under close scrutiny only. Overall better condition than you would expect for its year and miles.
Interior Condition- The interior is also in much better condition than you would expect for its year and miles. The leather seats are in very good condition. The headliner is new. The dash and carpets are also in very good condition. The only imperfections are, there is a small wear mark on the drivers seat left side bolster and the glove box latch is broken (as always). All of the interior options work as they should including the a/c.
Engine and Transmission- The engine performs as it should with lots of power and no strange noises or vibrations. The transmission shifts very smoothly and has no indications of slipping at all. Very nice to drive!
Tires- The tires are all in near new condition!
Overall this Beetle is an absolute pleasure to drive. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere! I am an independent dealer that specializes in hybrid and diesel vehicles and takes pride in my inventory. You can bid with confidence, you won't be disappointed! I will be happy to assist the winning bidder with airport pickup or discounted vehicle transportation. Happy Bidding!

Editors' Choice: Top Five 2013 Geneva Motor Show Debuts
Fri, 08 Mar 2013We've returned from a very busy week in Switzerland, and in going back over all of our 75 stories from the Geneva Motor Show, our editors have gathered up their personal favorite debuts from the European expo.
The wonderful thing about the Geneva show is just how wide of an array of vehicles are on display - everything from funny little one-off EVs to the most exotic of supercars to, well, truly ridiculous displays of coachbuilding. And because of that, this list of our editors' favorites might not be as predictable as you think.
But we don't want to give anything away just yet. Scroll down to have a look at our team's favorites from Geneva.
Volkswagen E-Co-Motion Concept brings electric mobility to the commercial set
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Volkswagen sees a future where the bulk of the world's freight is moved into city centers by train, then offloaded onto a fleet of smaller, light-duty commercial vehicles for final delivery. Those vehicles could wind up looking something like the company's E-Co-Motion Concept that debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The EV features a modular underfloor drive unit comprised of a battery, motor and gearbox that can be paired with any number of cab and body configurations to suit a buyer's needs, from a refrigerated box to a standard flat bed.
The E-Co-Motion Concept features a rear-mounted electric motor with 113 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque. A standard 20 kWh battery pack provides a driving range of up to 62 miles, while 30 kWh and 40 kWh packs could deliver 93 and 124 miles of travel, respectively. Check out the press release below for more information.
Brazil contemplates safety exemption for VW Kombi as it goes out of production today [w/poll]
Tue, 31 Dec 2013Brazil: the country of carnivals, indescribable beauty adjacent to abject poverty, Ayrton Senna and old Volkswagen models. Only they're not old - they're new, they're just based on old designs. The original Beetle continued production there long after it had been phased out elsewhere, but the original Kombi van has lasted much longer. That ends today, however, with the iconic VW Microbus ambling out of production on the last day of 2013.
VW kept making the van in Brazil with the original air-cooled 1.2-liter boxer four until 2005, after which the original design was updated with a 1.4-liter water-cooled engine. Today, however, it ultimately falls prey to safety regulations that mandate that all vehicles - no matter how old their design - need to have airbags and ABS, forcing Volkswagen do Brasil to cease production of the Microbus after a 56-year production run. But the latest word is that the Kombi (as it's presently known) could get a stay of execution - or at least a resurrection in short order.
According to reports, the Brazilian government is looking into granting the Type 2 Microbus an exemption from said safety regulations, reasoning that the van was designed long before the advent of airbags and ABS. If the measure goes through, the Kombi Last Edition (pictured above) could prove not to be the last at all. So what do you think, should the Microbus get an exemption from Brazilian safety regulations for nostalgia's sake? Vote in our poll below, then have your say in Comments.
