I know everyone says it, but this truck truly runs like new. Vehicle is in great condition - mechanically and aesthetically. Truck has been serviced on regular intervals, with synthetic oil. Installed four new Michelin LTX M/S 2's at 62,285 miles (Road hazard and lifetime rotate/balance are transferable through NTB). Replaced brake pads/shoes and had rotors turned at 77,000 miles (pads are "hawk green stuff", rotors are drilled and slotted). Installed K/N air filter. I own a mobile detailing business and we did a full detail (interior and exterior) on 9/16/14: paint was high-speed buffed, polished, waxed and has year protection nano-sealant. Truck has resided in GA for entirety of ownership, so no rust.

Issues:

1) There are a few dings and scratches as would be expected on a 2002, but nothing excessive.

2) Rear bumper has small plastic chunk (about 1/2") coming off from where I clipped a car pulling out of a parking spot- see pic (this is also the accident reported in autocheck).

Toyota produces millionth truck in Texas

After going online in 2006, Toyota's San Antonio, Texas truck plant has just built its one-millionth vehicle, the 2014 Tundra 1794 Edition you see above. The plant originally focused on just the Tundra pickup, but the smaller Tacoma started rolling off the line there in 2010, as well.
Fittingly, the 1794 Edition (a new premium trim level for 2014) pays homage to the property on which the Toyota plant now resides - a ranch that was founded in 1794. This Irishman really likes the Toyota GT86

Okay, okay - by this point in time just liking the Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, what have you) doesn't make you special. Even if you're a sort of funny sounding, funny looking Irishman, who probably isn't the most seasoned car reviewer ever, digging the GT86 is not news.
However, if, when you choose to publish your ten-minute-long review, you include exclamatory phrases about your own pubic hair, Ozzy Osborne's drug habit and "gentleman vegetable stuff," well sir, then you'll have our attention.
Don't give up on this video, available down below, after the first couple of minutes, we implore you. The silver-tongued Irishman doesn't really get warmed up until four minutes in, or so. Believe us, it's worth the wait.

Honda may recall up to 1M vehicles for airbag issue, following Toyota's lead

It seems Toyota won't be the only one recalling the faulty Takata airbag inflators for long. Honda insiders in Japan claim that the company is getting close to announcing its own worldwide campaign that would begin before the end of June.
Unnamed sources close to Honda in Japan tell Automotive News that the company is pursuing an internal investigation into possibly affected models and is working with Takata to gather more information. They claim that it could involve even more than the 1.14 million cars worldwide that the automaker covered under the first recall for the problem in April 2013, including 561,000 vehicles in the US.
Toyota jumpstarted this process last week when it recalled over 2 million cars worldwide, including 844,277 in the US. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began a preliminary evaluation into the issue following six reported incidents, and started assembling data about potentially affected models from Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Chrysler. NHTSA also began investigating Takata itself.
