Chicago, Illinois, United States
Thanks for looking!! I purchased this truck brand new 0 mileage year of 2000,..me a sole owner and this truck I love so much I Did not want anyone else driving this truck because i just dont trust how they accelerate and braking,...I do it really smooth!!. i weigh 140lbs so figure the chair still bunching really good,.some obvious dirt and stain but can be general clean. The cab is customized my friends who also a mechanics help me put this up,..noticed they are being installed kinda rough but it came out very usefull. all pipes was purchased at the local store, you always have the option to remove. Rims are painted black it used to be black and stainless,...Tire are Brand new,..yes brand new purchased at pepbooy "Dakota LT 285/75/16, Also their is "SPIDER" 1" spacer on it for 1.5 yrs for no problem at all this brand is no outside made,..It is USA made,..security and trusted no problem,. it give the truck an additional stability since tire is wider sticking out...you have the option to remove it though, i just like the way it look when tire is sticking out just look baaaaddd!!! Also since the it is a new tire wheel alignment might be off a little bit. Body has a customized textured paint for a year and half now, the hood is completely covered with textured paint and some accent on the side, you can see some dents, minor scratch, and when you get closer about a foot u can noticed a bumps from pass. cargo body i hit the side of my garage. On this case u can always have repainted. Truck is lifted 3" parts "Rough Country" and Body lift "Performance acce." for about 1 yr and 6 moths and this baby runs awesome, handling emprove dramatically good since we install that rear 1" sway bar and replace the front into 1.5" which bigger than original,..i took the credit back to the proffesionalls advice. This truck might look a beast mean off-road but honestly I never took this off-roading,..I would recomend not to also, if you like off-roading buy a salvage truck. This truck is a head turner, people would ask all kinds of questions and good complement everywhere i go,...I remember i was driving express way and a 18 wheelers driver literally slow down to 25 miles per hour just to catch up with me signaling his hand to lower my window i got scared i though it was something bad turns was just asking "Where did you get that cab?" crazzy hah!! Toyota Recall just performed under chassis black coating,..also you can always bring it to the dealership everytime you noticed a bad rust they would undercoat it for free,..or if chassi is really getting bad in the future they will replace it for free since it is a recall. On this Truck I never had any Accident,never,ever,..and will not ever be on accident ..Believe me :-) never had major components damage, all original transmission shift awesome, aircondition, change oil i only used syntetic all the time, brake pads change always on time,.rotor are high performance. and here are the list we updated: 1) 10 months old beilstien performance shock rear and front 2) left and right performance control arms "Camburg" 3) 6months old performance 1.2" sway bar and additonal 1" rear sway bar 4) 1.5 years dual performance exhaust 5)1 years old all sparplug "Denzo" equillibrium 6) Customized emergency hid's lights with 3 controls front and rear 7) customized cab 8)LED Sylvania ZXE performance bulb fog and head light,..also 6 month old headlight assembly and tail light. 9) 3 front additonal fog 10) Cold air intake 11) high performance brake rotor well folks thats all i can provide so far,..you can always ask question anytime,..for sure this truck is bless, you will not regret , engine performance, transmission, this truck will run more than 500k miles..you take it from me because I OWNED it for 13 yrs, it's like you kid u can fell it if they are sick and you would right away take care the problem..i fell so bad letting this baby go, but i need $ you know i got 2 college :-) |

Rod Millen to face Monster Tajima in Electric Division of Pikes Peak Hill Climb
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The 91st running of the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb is scheduled to begin on June 30. Like last year's event, the 12.42 mile course - fully paved these days - starts at 9,390 feet elevation and doesn't stop climbing until it reaches an impressive 14,110 feet (the air is so thin up there that the FAA requires pilots to use oxygen at that altitude).
There will be an assortment of internal combustion machines racing to the summit, entries from France, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Sweden, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland and Belgium, but all eyes will be on the electric showdown between Rod Millen and Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, from Japan. 61-year-old Millen is a familiar name to Toyota racing fans, and he will be driving the Toyota TMG EV P002 (it won the Electric title last year), while Tajima will be again piloting the Monster Sport E-Runner (which was forced out of the field last year after a fire broke out).
Other entrants include Rhys Millen driving a 2013 Hyundai PM58OT and Paul Dallenbach, who will be driving Millen's Hyundai Genesis Coupe (it set the all-time speed mark last year).
2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport
Tue, 16 Apr 2013"Oh yeah, Toyota still makes the Tacoma." Admit it, that's what you just said to yourself. It's a perfectly natural reaction, but the Tacoma has been quietly anchoring its segment for years, outselling every other compact pickup without making too much of a fuss. Toyota hasn't neglected the Tacoma - it was updated in 2012 with a revised nose and interior as the most noteable changes.
In a world awash with high-value fullsize pickups all vying for your attention, the Tacoma still charms more than a few buyers out of their cash. I hooked a Tacoma for a week to see whether it still has enough to recommend it.

Honda Civic overtakes Toyota Corolla as America's best-selling compact
Mon, 04 Nov 2013The battle to claim October's best-selling compact sedan title has been won by the Honda Civic. The Japanese four-door sold 27,328 units, leaving the Toyota Corolla - September's title holder - in its wake with 23,637 units sold. In terms of year-to-date sales, the Civic sits at 280,899 units, with the Corolla trailing at 257,184 vehicles.
Sitting in third place, separated by a significant gap from the leaders, is the Chevrolet Cruze with 16,087 units sold. The Ford Focus earned fourth, with 15,108 units moved out of showrooms. (It is interesting to note that while the Civic and Corolla have both enjoyed double-digit sales increases year-over-year, the Cruze and Focus have seen significant decreases during the same period.)
Sales of the Hyundai Elantra hit 14,876 units, putting it in fifth place, with the Volkswagen Jetta earning sixth place with 11,710 units. Rounding out the ten top sellers were the Nissan Sentra (8,399 units), Mazda3 (7,647 units), Dodge Dart (5,617 units) and Subaru Impreza/WRX (4,923 units). The Kia Forte (4,706 units) and Volkswagen Golf (2,249 units), eleventh and twelfth respectively, have fallen behind.
