Clean CARFAX Report details maintenance according to Manufacturers Maintenance Schedule at Toyota Dealers. Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires are as new – approximately 3,000 miles on them. Adult driven. Never smoked-in. Full lube & service at Toyota Dealer less than 100 miles ago. I also told them to check the car out completely and fix anything they found, clean out evaporator and change filter in A/C. They found something leaking on the steering, so, it wound up being a $1,200 visit. But the car is completely checked-out and current.
According to a strict reading of the Kelley Blue Book Condition guidelines this car is in "Very Good Condition". The things that keep it from being “Excellent” are some very small scratches around the bottom – only one is readily visible – see pictures, and the driver’s seat shows some wear – see pictures. The car was also just detailed and waxed. It is spotless.
The only comparable car now on eBay has 79,000 miles and the mega-dealer in TX has BUY-IT-NOW of $13,780.
KBB Private party Value $11, 817
KBB Trade-in value $9,898
The CARFAX Report says $1,160 to whatever value
I bought this car from the local Audi Dealer about a year ago. I am the second owner. This is a very good little car and I have enjoyed driving it, but I have decided to buy a Porsche 911, so that is why its up for sale.
The car is located in Southeast Charlotte, NC. Please call Hank at (843) 290-4368 to arrange a personal inspection.

New Toyota semiconductors could increase hybrid fuel efficiency by 10%
Wed, 21 May 2014Toyota may have an ace up its sleeve in the fuel economy wars, as it's developed a new type of semiconductor that will allegedly help the company's hybrids net a ten-percent improvement in fuel economy.
The tech is still in development, although Toyota is already reporting five-percent gains during testing, six years before it plans to implement the new semiconductor in production vehicles, meaning the ten-percent improvement doesn't seem like an untenable goal. That is, until you hear from Kimimori Hamada, the project general manager of Toyota's electronics division.
"We are aiming for great improvement in fuel economy and miniaturization," Hamada told Automotive News. "This is a very challenging target."
1967 Toyota 2000GT most expensive Asian car ever sold at $1.2M
Fri, 10 May 2013Toyota's agelessly beautiful 2000GT has been sold by RM Auctions for $1.16 million, making it the new record holder for the most expensive Asian car ever sold. As always, rarity played a big factory in driving up the price; just 351 2000GT models were built, and only 62 left-hand-drive cars (like this one). The classic Toyota, standout member of Texas car-collector Don Davies' paddock, was originally a US-delivery car that spent time in a collection back in a Japan before returning to Texas just a short time ago. The car last sold in March of 2011, for just $650,000.
Enthusiasts will recognize the 2000GT as perhaps the most heralded Japanese classic of all time. The Toyota was a contemporary of the Jaguar E-Type - though one that obviously sold in a fraction of the English car's numbers - that was well reviewed by the motoring press of the day. Sometimes referred to as Japan's first supercar, the 2000GT boasted a 150-horsepower, dual overhead cam, 2.0-liter straight-six engine; a five-speed manual transmission; and a reported top speed of over 135 miles per hour.
RM described this record-setting example as, "the finest and most authentic 2000GT to come to market in recent years," equating it with blue chip classic exotics like the Ferrari Daytona and Lamborghini Miura.
Honda scores big in Automobile Advertising of the Year Awards [w/videos]
Wed, 15 Jan 2014This year the Detroit Auto Show didn't just celebrate the automobile, it celebrated how we find out about the automobile, too. Partnering The One Club, this year introduced the 2014 One Show Automobile Advertising of the Year Award to Cobo Hall, celebrating winners in five different categories of advertising: broadcast television, online, interactive, experiential, and print/outdoor. Winners in those categories were judged by 50 creative directors and journalists, while a Public Choice category was chosen from among nearly 20,000 online votes.
Honda walked off with three of the six awards, its Hands spot taking Broadcast honors, its Sound of Honda getting the Online category and Illusions winning Public Choice. Hyundai made the grade in Interactive with Driveway Decision Maker, Fiat captured Print/Outdoor with its "Letters" ad, and Toyota's Tundra Endeavor Campaign spot and BMW's A Window into the Near Future were co-winners for Experiential.
You can watch all of the press release and winning videos below or check out all of the finalists, announced last month, for a refresher.
