2004 Toyota Solara Se Convertible 2-door 3.3l on 2040-cars
Windermere, Florida, United States
This car is up for auction only because I have too many vehicles and no space to keep them. I bought this Solara 2 years with an intension to keep it since Toyota does not manufacture this vehicle anymore and I know it will definitely worth some money in later years to come. This car was built from the Toyota Camry chasis and has the most comfortable smooth ride. It is a hard to find color and interior seats are in great condition almost new there are not wear on the seat I always had them covered. Car was kept in garage since I got it. The paint is in immaculate condition and looks new there no fades on the paint and a very shine and glossy finish. the tires are in excellent condition hardly used and no cracks in them. The car is in original condition and no modification all factory stock for a collectible. The car has a original factory alarm and a additional remote alarm, two alarms and both work together this is rear. the car is rust free throughout. All lines and panels are all intact as a new vehicle feel free to test drive and inspect before purchase. Free pick up at MCO, Orlando international airport, willing to help if shipping when driver arrived. Need more pics please contact me 407 272-0670 The car runs like new and the body has no dents, the vehicle is clean inside and outside and in excellent condition. The has been service at Toyota since I bought and all oil changes has been done by me directly. There is a reserve price that buyer would need to abide by thanks and Happy Bidding. Good Luck everyone, you will be totally satisfied of the condition of this vehicle for its mileage and price. This is definitely a trouble free car for keeps. |

This first-gen Toyota Celica is one mean mother
Tue, 09 Jul 2013Brian Karasawa's gen-one Toyota Celica is, in a word, badass. As a long-standing fan of the marque, the doting owner has tried to both restore and improve his Celica keeping period-correct modifications in mind. The 20R/22R mashup engine is outputting roughly 185 horsepower and graced with a lot of JDM-specific parts and modifications. Clearly, the exhaust has been upgraded from stock, as clips of the orange Toyota in motion are accompanied by one hell of a nice sound.
Tastes clearly vary, and there's not as much love for the first-wave of Japanese metal as there is for similar era American-iron, but we're pleased to see these cars finally getting more time in the spotlight. Scroll down below to see why we're stoked, and consider cruising your local Craigslist for late 1970s and early 1980s Japanese coolness (before we get there first).
Heavily updated 2015 Toyota Camry to bow in New York
Thu, 27 Mar 2014Looks like the new, "more emotional" Toyota Camry designer Kevin Hunter talked about back in January is going to arrive very soon, with news that Toyota's bread-and-butter sedan will be getting an update in just a few weeks time at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
"On April 16 at the New York International Auto Show, we will make an important announcement about America's best-selling car, the Toyota Camry," said Curt McAllister, Toyota product news manager, in an emailed statement. Considering the high-profile nature of the NYAS - not to mention the competition that will be shown there - it makes sense that Toyota would choose to unveil something as significant as a major refresh at the Javits Center.
We wish we had more to tell you than this, but unfortunately, that's about all we've got to go on at this time. Of course, we'll have much more for you during the lead up to NYAS, including any leaks of the refreshed Camry. Stay tuned.
Toyota settles complaints with states Attorneys General for $29 million
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Toyota announced today that it has reached a settlement with the Attorneys General of 29 states and one US territory that will resolve their complaints relating to recalls performed by the automaker from 2005-2010, including those related to sticky accelerators and malfunctioning floor mats that may have contributed to cases of unintended acceleration.
The settlement includes a payout of $29 million to be divided among the states and US territory, as well as a commitment from Toyota "to take steps to make vehicle information more easily accessible to consumers to help them operate their vehicles safely and make more informed choices." The settlement also has Toyota continuing its rapid-response service teams and quality field offices that were put in place shortly after the largest of the recalls from 2010, as well as a "range of customer care amenities for owners of vehicles subject to certain recalls," though the press release below isn't specific about what those amenities might be.
This settlement marks the second major step in the last few months that Toyota has taken to settle legal disputes surrounding the unintended acceleration recalls, the first being a $1.4 billion settlement to address economic loss suffered by owners of current and past Toyota vehicles that may have lost value on account of these recalls.
