2004 Toyota Sienna Handicap Van, Wheel Chair Ramp, Rampvan Conv, Tilt. Low Miles on 2040-cars

Year:2004 Mileage:57998
Location:

Up for auction we have a 2004 Toyota Sienna with the Rampvan S ims conversion. This van has had one owner and very well kept. Tires are like new and vehicle has been detailed and is in excellent condition. This van only has 57,998 miles!!!! It has the power door feature that when opened the wheel chair ramp folds out automatically and the whole vehicle tips to that side for ease of entry via an air bag suspension. The passenger seat has a full electric swivel so you transfer from wheel chair to passenger seat effortlessly. This van is a must have for anyone in a wheelchair. Our reserve is far less than what one of these conversions cost alone not including the price of the van itself. The van is in excellent condition but there is a crack by the driver's door on the lower plastic trim and also and slight crease in the right rear quarter panel. You can kind of see them in the pictures but the van still looks great. This is for sale locally at my dealership so if the reserve hasn't been met I reserve the right to sell it locally. When the reserve is met I will not sell the van except to the highest bidder on eBay. I would recommend inspecting the vehicle yourself or having someone do it for you (I can give a walk around on the phone also) but if you are the highest bidder you own the van. It can be seen at 2107 Hwy 169 South, Fort Dodge IA, or call us at 515-576-8513.

Payment due within 48 hrs of auction ending. I will accept cash or cashiers check. If you are a Iowa resident I will accept a personal check if you pay for tax, title, and license at the time of purchase. Local pickup only because all the paperwork has to be done in my shop. NO EXCEPTIONS, AND NO SHIPPING. sorry for any inconvenience. THANK YOU and happy bidding.

Scion reveals iM concept ahead of LA debut

Wed, 12 Nov 2014

After dropping a teaser image on us a few weeks ago, Scion has revealed in full the new iM Concept it's bringing to the Los Angeles Auto Show next week. As expected, the concept is clearly a rebadged version of the Euro-market Toyota Auris, only with some "European Racing Circuit Styling" upgrades to make it look more aggressive.
Along with the Scion logos, the five-door hatch is treated to a deeper air dam flanked by angular vents with stacked fog lamps, beefed-up wheel arches linked by widened side sills and filled with 19-inch, anthracite-finish alloys on low-profile rubber. Vented brake discs and four-piston calipers join an adjustable suspension as show-worthy equipment upgrades.
The sporty treatment continues around back with a similarly aggressive rear bumper and roof spoiler. Even the wing mirrors are replaced with narrower units. Little wonder it's all done up in a shade Scion calls "incrediblue" that looks rather similar to what sister-brand Lexus would put on one of its F-branded performance models - or for that matter what corporate ally Subaru would put on an STI hot hatches like the WRX.

2015 Toyota Yaris to start at $14,845* and look like this

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

Toyota released a new Yaris in Europe and its Vitz clone in Japan a few months ago, so we knew it would only be a matter of time before it would launch the new hatchback here in North America. And that time has come.
The new, more distinctive 2015 Yaris features far more aggressive exterior styling, a look set apart by that large lower air dam and X-motif front end. It rides on a retuned suspension hooked up to an altogether more rigid chassis, and Toyota promises it will ride more quietly and comfortably than the model it replaces. Inside the new model has additional soft-touch materials in a more comfortable cabin equipped with everything from a 6.1-inch touchscreen display to nine airbags.
The 2015 Yaris comes in both three- and five-door bodystyles, and three trim levels that seek to eliminate the need for options packages. In fact the only option to speak of is a dealer-installed nav system. Power comes from a modest 1.5-liter four with variable valve timing, dual overhead cams and sixteen valves, sending 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque through either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic.

Toyota will steer clear of driverless cars

Thu, 04 Sep 2014

Toyota executives say the company's primary focus is on safety. At least for the time being, that means the company won't pursue development of a driverless car.
Speaking at the company's advanced safety seminar in Ypsilanti, MI, Thursday morning, Seigo Kuzumaki, Toyota's deputy chief safety technology officer, said that Toyota envisions a future driving environment that optimizes the best of both humans and computers, not choosing one over the other.
"Toyota's main objective is safety, so it will not be developing a driverless car." - Seigo Kuzumaki
