I have used this car to drive about 10 miles every day to work.  It is beautiful and clean and has been taken care of. I have serviced the car every year at Toyota authorized dealer (DARCAR). Buyer is responsible to pick up the vehicle. If you want we can take the car to toyota authorized dealers such as DARCAR for an inspection. The buyer will pay the general cost which will be probably less than $150 and I will pay for any service that is really required. Please note that all these service centers make some suggestions every time that you take the car for  a service but many of them are not necessary. Here I mean if they find any faulty parts, I will pay to fix it before you take the car. Replaced the brakes about a year ago so they are in very good condition. Please note this was part of routine maintenance and the car did not have any problem.

Please note that I paid cash for this car (I will show you the documents) and bought it from a Toyota Authorized Dealer. The AutoCheck marks "Loan/Lien record(s)" but that is not just correct. As mentioned, I paid cash and bought it from an Authorized Dealer so everything is correct. As you see the general grade for this car (84) is much higher than other cars in the list.

Toyota recalling 615k Sienna models over rollaway risk

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

Toyota has announced a recall affecting approximately 615,000 Sienna minivans due to a possible rollaway risk. All of the vehicles in question are from the 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009 model years.
In an official statement, the automaker states that the problem stems from the vehicle's shift lever assembly. "Because of the potential for damage to the shift lock solenoid installed in involved vehicles, there is a possibility that the shift lever could be moved out of the 'P' position without the driver depressing the brake pedal," Toyota said. Because of this fault, the affected Sienna models could roll away without warning, increasing the risk for a crash.
Owners will be notified via first class mail, and the affected Sienna models can be taken to Toyota dealerships to have the shift lock solenoid replaced with a new one. Have a look below for the automaker's official release.

Toyota Camry, Honda Civic inventories mounting as US automakers make inroads

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Two of the hottest-selling cars in America aren't quite as hot as they used to be. The Toyota Camry and Honda Civic are both seeing dealer supplies increase in the face of renewed competition from the much-improved Detroit Three.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the Camry's dealer inventory is 15 days higher than its seasonal average, while the Civic is 25 days above average. Things aren't expected to get better for Toyota and Honda, as RBC Capital Markets analyst Joseph Spak marked the two Japanese offerings as "at risk for reduced output."
The Detroit Three, meanwhile, are seeing supplies dwindle as demand increases, especially for the Ford Fusion, which has seen an 18-percent increase in 2013 sales, and the Chevrolet Cruze, which was second only to the Camry in June 2013 sales.

Toyota's $1.6B unintended acceleration settlement approved

Sat, 20 Jul 2013

Toyota is now one step closer to putting its unintended acceleration woes behind it as it has received approval from the US District Court for the Central District of California to settle loss-of-value claims to vehicles associated with the 2009-2010 recalls.
As we reported back in May, the Toyota settlement is worth $1.63 billion, which, according to Bloomberg, includes a payout of $757 million to affected owners, $227 million to attorneys and an additional $875 million for vehicle upgrades. (We did the math, too, and that totals $1.859 billion, but there is no justification for the discrepancy. Fuzzy math, eh?)
Based on the estimated 22.6 million vehicles said to be included in this suit, that would make the average payment about $33.49 per vehicle, but the article says that owners, lessees and even renters will receive varying amounts ranging from $9.74 up to as much as $10,000. This settlement does not affect suits filed for personal injury or wrongful death.
