For more details eMail me : dec07barnardbertram@mail.com
I am selling my fully loaded 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder. I really dont want to sell my fantastic car, but I have recently been diagnosed with Crohns Disease and Lupus which makes it difficult for me to get in and out of the car. Since being diagnosed, the car has been very much loved and appreciated, but unfortunately I cannot drive it like I used to. I need to find a new drive who can drive, love, and appreciate this car in the way that it deserves and I no longer can. Here are some features of the car: 6 Speed Sequential Shifting AEM Cold Air Intake (purchased at Toyota Parts Store and installed by a Toyota Dealer in MD) Tires (3-5k miles on them) Pioneer DVD/CD/MP3/NAV and 4 new speakers Power Windows Power Locks Power Lumbar Control Power Mirrors storage compartments behind the seats Air Condition and Heater work very well Full Size Spare Leather Seats Carbon Fiber Dash Fog Lights Factory Air Intake (available in a box after cold air intake installed) Carpet and Floor Mats in good shape This car has been recently service (cleared the sales floor at the dealership of people who wanted to see it) and cleaned and ready for a healthy owner who is ready to go on some fun drives. It is a head turner. I have a good chunk of the service records if interested. Please message me to see or test drive the car and Good Luck. :) Fine Print: Odometer could be higher than listed depending on number of test drives. This vehicle is also due for another state emissions inspection as of todays mail delivery, so there may be a few more miles due to that as well. Thanks.

Toyota to shock with Supra concept for Detroit Auto Show?
Fri, 06 Dec 2013We've written about approximately 187,000 rumors about a return of the Toyota Supra to the land of living cars. There are a couple of good reasons for this: first, Toyota won't stop dropping hints about a new halo sports car. Late this summer, Toyota sales guru Kazuo Ohara called a Supra successor "one of the options we have" - a comment followed by a hint that there would be "better news" on the subject in the future.
The second reason for all the Toyota tales is, of course, that we all have missed the Supra since its departure from the US market in 1998. So, when a member of the Autoblog team is party to a nudge-and-wink-filled conversation about a new Supra concept headed to January's Detroit Auto Show, we tend to listen up.
A 400+ horsepower hybrid sports car would match up pretty well with the upcoming NSX.
Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with
Mon, 12 May 2014Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.
Ford Fusion production scaled back just 3 months after it was accelerated
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Three months after kicking off production of the Ford Fusion at its Flat Rock, MI factory, Ford Motor Company is taking steps to trim output in the face of heavily discounted competition from Toyota and a growing supply of vehicles.
The addition of Fusion production in Flat Rock - which also builds the Mustang - was meant to be what pushed the handsome mid-sizer past its arch-nemesis, the Toyota Camry. An extra facility building Fusions was also meant to curb the growing demand for Ford's highly profitable sedan.
But with word that Flat Rock would take "approximately" one extra week off for the holidays combined with an 88-day supply of Fusions - reportedly due in no small part to what Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas called "aggressive discounting of the Camry" - some analysts are now beginning to wonder if Ford may have overextended itself by adding a second Fusion facility to the mix.
