Toyota Land Cruiser Fj60 1984 on 2040-cars
Rio Rancho, New Mexico, United States
Zero Rust, well taking care of and I am the second owner and had it for over 15 years. last two years I have done maney upgrade I will list it below, headliner in exellent condition Breaks are in excellent condition with steel brarded break line Altought this truck has a front and rear tow capacity, it has never been towed with of off road driven. yes Never the only leak is from rear seal of the engine, althought was replace during clutch replacment it only drip couple hear and there, no other leak what so ever here you go more picture. This truck has not been washed or vacumed lately. I always take the spare wheel and the high jack out to reduce weight. one of the picture showes the tear in the seat and the carpet in the driver site. that is the only interior issue. other then that is nice. as I said I have never took this truck 4 wheeling or did any towing I bought evering in it for quality and look.
I bought this truck with 120,000 miles from old couple 15 years ago and they bought it from American toyota in ABQ, NM. by looking in the bottom of truck it looks awsome and no rust anywhere can be found. Noting is hidding nor is been exaggerated. paint is still good for 30 year old truck. it has minor scratches and two dime size dent on the rear panel. Front and rear bumper are custom made by stout equipment and cost me $ 4000 installed. you feel very safe in this truck. the rear bumper holds another matching wheel and tire which winner of this auction will recive. all 5 wheel and tires (33/12.5/15) are about 20,000 miles on them including all breaks and calipers. rear bumper swings open and holds the 5th wheel and 2 gas tank and high jack. I ave the brand new high jack which will be included. pictures are not showing the 5th wheel and high jack. Front dash has two cracks since I had the truck, driver sit has small tear at the corner where you get in but always been covered since I had it. all other sits are in great condition. I will include more picture soon. carpets has a small hole in driver site but all other places are in great condition. I never thought I am going to sell this truck but when life through you a curve ball, I am forced to sell it. if you have more question ask me and I will answer as I recive them, thank you for reading and good luck.

Tesla expects another higher-volume deal with Toyota in next few years
Tue, 09 Sep 2014Four months have passed since Toyota ended its relationship with Tesla Motors, in which the electric-vehicle specialist supplied full lithium-ion battery packs to the Japanese behemoth for its RAV4 EV rollout, of which 2,500 vehicles will be completed. Now, Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk has been heard suggesting that a future collaboration is likely within the next two to three years, and that it will probably be much larger than the last one.
Both Tesla and Toyota have sung each other's praises in the not-too-distant past, Toyota telling Autoblog back in May, "We have a good relationship with Tesla and will evaluate the feasibility of working together on future projects." According to Automotive News, Musk said of the Japanese giant, "We love working with Toyota... We have a huge amount of respect for them as a company and certainly much to learn."
Interestingly, though, the two automakers have rather divergent strategies for eco-friendly automobiles. Toyota, as you're surely aware, is the clear-cut leader in hybrids and has thrown its massive support in the direction of hydrogen fuel cells, while Tesla has invested heavily in battery-electric technology and high-speed charging stations.
Toyota confirms i-Road electric trike for production
Tue, 08 Oct 2013The wacky, three-wheeled Toyota i-Road we saw in Geneva earlier this year will be heading to production. But before you run down to your local Toyota dealer looking for one of these all-electric "personal mobility" vehicles, chances are, you'll never actually see one unless you visit Japan.
Announced at the Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (CEATEC) expo last week, Toyota said that the i-Road would be used as a part of the Ha:Mo car-sharing system in Japan. Weighing in at around 661 pounds, with a 28-mile-per-hour top speed and a two-passenger seating arrangement, the i-Road seems more like a fully enclosed scooter than a car, but it does offer a 30-mile driving range and has a nifty articulating front suspension that leans into corners. As for Ha:Mo, Toyota says that the number of cars in the program will increase from 10 prior to October 1 to 100 by the middle of this month, and the number of stations will almost double from 13 up to 21. Toyota has more details about the car and Ha:Mo in the press release posted below.
Toyota previews next Lexus RX with Tokyo-bound JDM Harrier
Wed, 13 Nov 2013The Lexus RX shares much with the Toyota Highlander, but its more direct counterpart is the Toyota Harrrier. Never heard of it? That's because Toyota only sells it at home in Japan, and now it's revealed a new one. So if the Harrier is essentially a Toyota-badged version of the RX, then what's the big deal, you ask? The big deal is that the new Harrier which leaked in July, set to debut at the Tokyo Motor Show next week and which you see here isn't quite the same as the Lexus, and those differences could (and in most cases likely will) make their way over to the RX as well.
For starters, the styling is different. Granted that the Lexus version will almost certainly get a spindle-shaped grille, but even so, the Harrier's nose seems to protrude further than the RX's and the headlamps are a notably different shape. The greenhouse is also a different shape, coming to a sharper point at the back, and the mirrors are fixed to the A-pillar not to the door panel. The taillamps are revised, the tailgate has a new profile and there's a pseudo-diffuser at the bottom of the rear bumper. Subtle changes, to be sure, but then Toyota and Lexus are known for their evolutionary approach to styling. The interior has apparently undergone some updates as well, with a more dynamically styled dashboard, a more symmetrical center stack and different seats, steering wheel, door panels... the works. The infotainment display screen has also moved further down from its position in the current RX.
Toyota will offer the new Harrier with a 2.0-liter four mated to a CVT and driving either the front wheels or all four, and a hybrid setup with a 2.5-liter married to a 140-hp electric motor. The RX is offered here with a 3.5-liter V6 either on its own or with an electric assist. We wouldn't expect Lexus to go swapping the larger engines for the smaller ones, at least not for the US market. There's plenty more to the Harrier, of course, than the similarities and differences to the Lexus RX, and if you're buying a premium crossover in Japan, you can delve into the full details in the press release below, together with the images in the gallery above.
