Toyota Land Cruiser 1992

This project begin 12 months ago, I was planning to take a road trip from Miami all the way to Brazil, I was devoted to the project for the past few months me and my friend did a lot of modifications to the car to get it ready for the trip, long story short, this is a well taken care of truck. I have it for a year and drove it only 1000 miles. I love this truck but my dreams was to travel around the world in this truck for now I am unable to do it for work and other things that came up. Anyway I hope someone see the value on this truck and can use it better than me.

We replace a lot of things, did maintenance to everything, full tune up, spark plugs, wires, replace the transmission, water pump, brakes, sensors,  new radiator, paint, upgrade the radio with a connection for iPod, old emu suspensions (Australian Best suspensions), synthetic oil change (don't have to do an oil change in 13,000 miles, roof rack, etc...   Full package. I have the receipts.

MONTH AGO, THE TRUCK WAS TAKEN FOR A FULL DETAIL INSPECTION WITH TOYOTA. THE TRUCK IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION.

Toyota asking NHTSA for waiver on 206K vehicles

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

Toyota has filed a petition with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration asking for a waiver to avoid recalling about 206,271 2012-2014 Camry, Avalon, Corolla, Sienna, Tundra and Tacoma vehicles, some of its most popular models. The affected vehicles contain seat heaters that might not meet government flammability standards. Toyota says in the waiver that "the chance of fire or flame induced by a malfunctioning seat heater is essentially zero," according to The Detroit News. The automaker notes the part makes up less than one percent of the seat's weight.
Initial reports of the problem arose in late January when Toyota issued a stop-sale order for 2013 and 2014 model year versions of those vehicles. The automaker says that there have no been reports of fires or injuries in the affected cars, and the problem was discovered during testing by the South Korean government, according to The Detroit News.
We've reached out to Toyota for comment on this development and are awaiting a reply. We'll update this post if and when we hear back.
