Offered for sale is this stunning Toyota Land Cruiser. This a 2000 model with just over 101K miles. This is extremely low mileage, especially considering that these have a reputation for lasting over 300K miles, often with very little maintenance needed.

This Land Cruiser has been used as an executive vehicle, rather than the off-road use that it is also designed for. It is extremely rare to find one in this condition.

The interior and exterior are in excellent condition. You will not be disappointed. Normal wear for the model year is to be expected, including but not limited to imperfections in the paint and normal wear in the interior, but this vehicle defies it's age.

Potential buyers are welcome and encouraged to come and inspect the vehicle prior to the end of auction.  The vehicle is located at Amigo Auto Sales, Inc., 1941 South Cobb Dr SE; Marietta, GA 30060.  We are open 7 days a week, Monday through Saturday from 9A.M. to 8P.M. EST, and Sunday from 10A.M. to 6P.M. EST.  Feel free to contact us to arrange a time to view the vehicle at (770) 436-1760 (reference stock # 22880).

Vehicle is also listed for sale locally. Seller reserves the right to cancel auction if there are 12 or more hours left in the listing, should it sell locally.

We are a licensed used motor vehicle dealer in the state of Georgia. All vehicles are sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Mileage may increase due to test drives. Georgia residents will be responsible for paying Georgia TAVT in addition to the winning bid amount, and an $18 title fee will apply if you choose for us to process the title on your behalf.  Buyers from outside of the state of Georgia will be responsible for paying any taxes and/or registration fees required in their state of residence.

Toyota RAV4 EV lease gets cut in half to $299/month

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

If you're in the market for a new electric vehicle, now is definitely the time to buy or lease. Following price drops on just about every other EV on the market, Toyota is looking to push a few more all-electric RAV4 crossovers out the door over the Labor Day weekend. The Detroit News is reporting that, through September 3, anyone looking to get into a RAV4 EV in Los Angeles or San Francisco, can get a deal: a $299 a month lease (no word on down payment, though) or zero-percent financing for 60 months for buyers.
The $49,800 RAV4 EV normally leases for twice as much - $599 a month - so this move could be an attempt to sell more of the 2,600 units Toyota has planned to produce. Or maybe, if you thought $599 was a fair price, you can now get two RAV4 Evs. Although temporary, the price drop comes at a time when many other EVs on the market have had their prices reduced, including the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Smart Fortwo ED and Honda Fit EV, not to mention already low prices for the Fiat 500e and Chevy Spark EV.

Toyota announces Geneva plans including droptop FT-86 Open concept

Fri, 01 Feb 2013

Automakers from around the globe are gearing up for the Geneva Motor Show next month, and Toyota is giving us a couple teasers of what will be in its display. In addition to what appears to be a single-seat concept called the i-Road (shown at right), Toyota will also give us our first look at a droptop Scion FR-S courtesy of the FT-86 Open Concept.
All we have to go on right now is this sketch shown above, but we do see that this car will retain its rear seats, which could be a potential advantage over one of its key rivals, the Mazda MX-5 Miata. Toyota says that this concept will be used to gauge public interest in such a convertible, but we've already heard that a Scion convertible is already planned to go on sale as soon as early next year. As far as Toyota's other concept, there also isn't much information about the i-Road except that it will be a zero-emissions vehicle and it will have seating for two passengers, which based on the drawing will have the driver sitting in front of the passenger.
Toyota will also show off the European version of the new RAV4 as well as its new Auris Touring Sports, which it refers to as a "medium-size estate." Scroll down for Toyota's tease of a press release.

Toyota mulling more Tundra, Tacoma capacity in TX

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

Toyota may be expanding its pickup truck production at its San Antonio, TX factory following calls from dealers for more Tacoma and Tundra models, according to a new report from Automotive News.
The San Antonio plant is currently able to produce 250,000 trucks on two shifts with overtime, while a secondary facility in Tijuana, Mexico can build an extra 50,000 Tacomas. Despite this capacity, and the fact that Tundra is a slow seller relative to the full-size trucks from Ford, Ram and Chevrolet/GMC (not to mention the Tacoma being part of a segment with diminishing sales), Toyota franchisees apparently can't get enough of the trucks.
"Dealers are telling us they could sell more Tacomas and Tundras," said Bill Fay, the general manager of the Toyota Division. "We are evaluating our footprint and capacity." According to AN, Toyota has moved over 248,000 trucks through November.
