I have for sale 1995 Landcruiser Dark Red, loaded with leather, yakima rack, Tow Package,Toyota factory floor mats, Seats 7 with 3rd row seats, Sunroof, Keless Entry remote, Power locks, Power windows, Cold A/C, Dual Batteries, Factory Toyota bug guard, real sheepskin front seat covers, I also put on all new wood grain on the dash, doors and console. 4 cylinder Dodge 4BTA intercooled cummins diesel conversion with the Dodge diesel 47RH Transmission. It has a 2" body lift, All new brake rotors and pads, New radiator, All new exhaust, ARB front bumper with 8,000lb SmityBuilt Winch. Hella driving lights, Also has new Raceline 16" Wheels with new TOYO OPEN COUNTRY Siped 285/75R16 Tires, has a like new factory spare. Just recently on the road, Should get 20-25 MPG. I was told that the torque converter should be changed for more boost, but runs fine as is. Not Rusty, came from Oregon, No wrecks, nice clean original paint. Original owners manual, Doors and Hatch open and close very tight. I installed new hood cylinders (They hold the hood up when open, most are week and don't stay up), This rig drives very nice, (No wondering) Clean title. I have between $35,000 and $40,000 into this rig as I had work done by professionals.(Not me). It is a awesome rig and I hate to send it down the road, but I am building a new house and we are already way over budget. So something must go. Toyota to drop regular-cab Tacoma as small pickups take another hit
Fri, 02 Aug 2013Even as General Motors prepares to redesign its midsize pickups, the market for sub-fullsize trucks continues to shrink. The remaining competitors in the segment are the well-aged Nissan Frontier, Honda Ridgeline and Toyota Tacoma, and now Truck Trend is reporting that the latter will be dropping its regular cab model due to poor sales.
According to the article, the available configurations for the Tacoma lineup will be whittled down in 2015, which apparently spells the end for the two-door Taco. The Tacoma is currently the last truck in its class to be offered in a regular cab configuration, with the Frontier no longer offering a standard cab model and spy shots of the next-gen Chevrolet Colorado not revealing any glimpse of a short cab, either.
VW targeting 10M sales in 2014
Sun, 16 Mar 2014Volkswagen Group believes it can sell over 10 million vehicles in 2014, with hopes of overtaking Toyota as the world's largest automaker in the process. If VW can do it, it would meet that goal four years earlier than planned. Of course, Toyota isn't sitting still - it also hopes to top the 10 million-car threshold this year and has the advantage of already holding the top spot.
"With rising volume and new models, we will increasingly see positive earnings effects as well," said VW Group CEO Martin Winterkorn during its annual press conference, according to Automotive News. The company is spending huge amounts of money to propel it to the top, investing 84.2 billion euros ($117 billion) through 2018, and according to AN it plans to introduce over 100 new models worldwide among all of its brands by the end of next year.
The German automaker may get an extra boost as the European car industry shows signs of emerging from its yearlong stagnation and China continues to grow. In January, VW Group was up 8.5 percent in Europe and 15.5 percent in China, according to its own figures. However, the US has been slowing with Volkswagen brand sales down 19.04 percent in January and down 13.81 percent in February.

Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
