There has been a lot of money spent to get this cruiser in the excellent condition shes in, spent her entire life in California, not a whole lot of off road experience in her past but when she did off road she demanded respect and got it, she will climb just about anything, everything works and works very well. tires have 10,000 miles on them 31-1050-15c1 BFG all terrain plus spare the same, plus 5 new 15x8 -30 blk 6-5.5 American Eagle 185 rims, total $1,725.00. new radiator and hoses $610.00, new power steering pump $498.00, new a/c unit $1571.00, new smog pump,new thermostat with fan clutch, new vacuum hoses $1,395.00 AND BELIEVE IT SHE PASSES CA. SMOG TEST ONLY STATIONS, New muffler and pipe,new electronic ignition, all new bearing kit for transmission new clutch $ 1163.00 new sony compact disc player and the list goes on and on. I have in my possession receipts totaling $12,000.00 spent on this vehicle for parts labor and general upkeep from 6-12-2012 to present. she drives like a dream, very tight and handles like a two year old jeep. On Sep-02-14 at 23:54:37 PDT, seller added the following information: The reason for the rebuild title is the vehicle was in mexico for two years and the owner died leaving it up to his widow to get it back in the USA to avoid paying the late fees and penalties for the two years, The DMV offered her a salvage title, there have not been any swapping of parts or equipment on this land cruiser it has all it's original parts except for whats been fixed or replaced by myself and or other past owners. The reason for the lien on this vehicle is, I'm making payments to a private party who is fully aware that the vehicle is being sold on ebay, and will render the title upon full payment of closing action price. Toyota releases its Le Mans recap, 'The Ultimate Endurance Race'
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Two weeks ago, Audi released its short video about this years 24 Hours of Le Mans, and now Toyota has put the experience into its own words and pictures. Called The Ultimate Endurance Race, the clip and accompanying press release focus on how hybrid power helped Toyota claim second and fourth places with the TS030 Hybrid in just its second year competing at Le Mans.
There are some brief scenes of the battles had this year, like when Lucas di Grassi in the Toyota almost kissed Allan McNish in the Audi above, but the best part might be when Toyota promises it will be back. Next year, it's gonna be good. You'll find the relevant words and the images just below.
2014 Toyota Camry to get 'significant' attention?
Sun, 24 Nov 2013With competition from Ford, Chevrolet, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda and Nissan mounting, Toyota is getting set to unveil a refreshed version of its Camry sedan a mere two years after it was fully redesigned.
According to a report from Bloomberg, Toyota's move to freshen the still young Camry comes as it seeks to retain its US sales crown in the midsize segment. That desperation has lead to increased incentives and fleet sales in a bid to keep its title, all while trying to keep pace with a slew of very competent competitors.
"It's safe to say we'll be doing something with it," Bill Fay, group vice president of the Toyota brand in the US, told Bloomberg during last week's LA Auto Show. "We'll be paying significant attention to Camry next year."
Toyota reveals new customizable Camatte57s kid-friendly concepts
Tue, 11 Jun 2013Toyota plans to follow up last year's kid-friendly Camatte concept with two new versions: the Camatte57s and Camatte57s Sport (right). Like the original Camatte, the two new concepts will make their debut at the International Tokyo Toy Show, which is happening this weekend.
Not much has changed with these two new Camatte models. Like their predecessor, they both feature detachable body panels (the count is up to 57), a 1+2 seating array and reconfigurable pedals that allow children to operate the gas and brakes while Mom or Dad steers. What is new is an open-top roadster design that even eschews doors in favor of easier ingress/egress. They look like something a tourist would rent to get around a Hawaiian island, though we dig the distinct personalities of each model's design.
Both cars are all-electric, though Toyota hasn't provided any other specifications, like what makes the Sport model sporty besides its more aggressive body panels and silver, black and red color scheme. That's just as well, as neither concept, like the original Camatte before them, is street legal.
