Up for sale is my 1978 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser with the original engine paired with an fj60 transmission allowing for better road driving while still being able to go anywhere in four wheel drive. The truck runs great and is in very good mechanical shape. Everything is tight, transmission shifts smoothly and 4x4 works as it should. Has brand new tires on it with a spare mounted on the rear to match. Diamond plate was added to the truck a few years ago prior to my ownership, this was done for looks but over the years there has been some rust accumulate in a few places under it as it holds moisture and I have included pictures of the bad spots under it. The front fenders are solid and have been rhino lined, this was also done for looks and preserved the fenders. There has been some rust on the truck over the years and there are a few small patches but nothing major, the frame has no rust. This truck is in great shape but is not a show truck, I didn't want a truck that I would be scared to drive. Truck is for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to end the auction if a buyer comes along. Watch this cement truck roll into Toyota minivan from driver's point of view

If you've been having an easy day and haven't received your daily dose of unmitigated terror, then this video is for you. Dr. Guan Zhu, a Texas A&M professor, caught the above view on his dashcam in College Station, TX, as a cement truck ran a red light, lost control and rolled into his Toyota Sienna minivan.
Although he received only minor injuries, Dr. Zhu says that he blacked out during the accident. The truck driver also avoided serious injuries, and the Sienna took the hit rather well too. Shuttle-hauling Tundra finds permanent home in science exhibit

The idea of lifting a full-size pickup truck completely off the ground by hand might seem as likely as, say, said pickup truck towing a 150,000-pound space shuttle, but... hurray, physics! The same Toyota Tundra that towed the Space Shuttle Endeavour to its final resting place at the California Science Center is now on permanent display there as an exhibit that shows how a lever works.
Like all levers, this exhibit uses a fulcrum allowing people other than Superman to lift the 5,625-pound pickup (plus an extra 1,000 pounds for the rig). That's almost as impressive as the Tundra pulling 17 times its rated towing capacity back in October. Regardless, Toyota is once again cashing in on the publicity stunt and visitors to the science center get a live demonstration of a simple machine - we call that a win-win.

Fewest vehicles ever found eligible for Most American survey

Once again, the most American car on the market is from an American brand. The Ford F-150 retained its number one spot in Cars.com's annual survey of the most American vehicles, trumping the Toyota Camry, which remains at number two.
Ford taking the top spot is small consolation, though, as the Detroit Three aren't too well represented here. General Motors scored a win at number seven, with the Chevrolet Corvette, while Chrysler squeaked in at number ten, with the Dodge Viper. Outside of those three vehicles, Toyota and Honda dominate the top ten.
What's most remarkable, though, is that there were so few cars available for this year's list.
