Since I had a great deal of interest in the car I am going to list it one more time before I put it away in storage. This ultra clean 83 Celica was a one owner female car until I bought it last year. The car is tight and handles so smoothly,it cruises 80 comfortably down the road. The engine is a injected 22RE that has good power and gets over 30 MPG.The car has 145000 miles but you would never guess it.Most of the questions were about the body and paint. The car has no rust issues and the paint is slick with great shine.Only imperfection is a tiny, tiny ding on passenger door that doesn't take away from the car's stunning appearance at all.It has all the Supra stuff on it like the wheels, seats, fender flairs, suspension etc.I have done a few upgrades to it such as KYB struts and drilled, slotted rotors. This would be a great reliable first car, awesome candidate for a drift car being RWD or an excellent  commuter car for the person that wants a rare, clean, cool, classic ride. This little car turns heads all the time, most people don't know what it is.I have a few things to go with it such as a MR2 rear spoiler which fits nicely on these cars and some GTS parts. The car needs nothing other than a freon charge which has already been converted over. These little coupes are almost impossible to find especially in this condition.Price is firm at 5000.00 The wheels and tires I bought new(780.00) for the car have maybe 2000 miles on them are available for 500.00 extra.Let me know if you need any particular photos or details of the car.I bought this car without seeing it in person and was so impressed with it's condition I couldn't believe it and I'm very picky so buy with confidence.

Toyota to start production of hydrogen vehicles in December

Sun, 08 Jun 2014

Toyota's hydrogen fuel cell vehicle will be in showrooms sooner than planned, the Japan Times reporting that production will commence in mid-December with the sedan following "by the end of this year." No reason was given for the new timeline; Toyota has been saying all along that we'd see it in 2015.
The company is said to be "considering" production volume of "dozens of... vehicles per month" at a "likely" price of eight million yen, which is $78,030 US. That is well in line with the numbers thrown around last year, when the target was somewhere between $50,000 and $100,000. Then late last year, during our first drive of the FCHV mule, we wrote that "the official quote... [is] that a price of 'less than 10 million yen is ideal.'"
That alleged $78K is a sizable sum to be one of the early adopters on the hydrogen fuel cell wagon train, but with things moving around so much - and with Toyota publicly citing hydrogen fuel cells as the future - there's plenty of reason to be cautious about that number.

2014 Toyota Corolla priced from $16,800*

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

We'll be publishing our First Drive of the 2014 Toyota Corolla later today, but right now, we can reveal that the eleventh-generation compact will be priced from $16,800 when it hits dealerships this fall (*not including a $810 destination charge).
Four trim levels will be offered, and that sub-$17,000 price point reflects the base L grade with a six-speed manual transmission. Adding the four-speed automatic (yep) brings that price up to $17,400, which gets you the usual features standard on this class of car, including Bluetooth connectivity, eight airbags and - a first for this price point - LED headlamps.
From there, the LE trim ($18,300) adds a backup camera, cruise control, keyless entry, Entune audio (including a 6.1-inch touchscreen) and a brand-new continuously variable transmission replacing the four-speed auto. There's even an Eco version of the LE trim that uses a different engine tune to provide fuel economy of up to 42 miles per gallon on the highway.

Toyota hits 10 million Camry models sold in US

Tue, 02 Jul 2013

This year marks 30 years of sales for the Toyota Camry in the US, and in that time, it has amassed more than 10 million sales. In its first year on the market, the Camry sold 52,651 units, but it has gone on to become the best-selling car in the US for the last 11 years.
Toyota says that "virtually all" current Camry models sold in the US are made here, and three-quarters of all Camry contents are domestically sourced. Scroll down for the official press release from Toyota, and be sure to check out our gallery of images showing every model year and bodystyle of the Camry since it first went on sale in 1983.
