1999 Toyota Camry Le Sedan 4-door 3.0l - Great Running - No Reserve!! on 2040-cars
Davidsonville, Maryland, United States
Welcome to my 1999 Toyota Camry LE. This vehicle has 126k original miles. This car was owned by a military family. It has been meticulously maintained and it shows. The engine has fresh belts all around, (including timing belt) new oil and runs very smoothly. Mechanically, there is nothing to report. The transmission shifts 100%. All power options – radio, locks, windows, etc. - function properly. The paint is in great condition. No rust anywhere. Only a small ding on rear driver quarter panel (doesn't show in pictures.) There are no scratches or previous accidents to report - per Autocheck. The interior is in great condition with no signs of wear on the seats or carpet - no stains or punctures are present. The rims are upgraded alloy factory type. The tires are in great condition and have several years of wear left on them. Brakes stop on a dime. I just had the exhaust manifold flex pipe repaired as well (a common problem with this era of Toyota.) This car is in extremely good condition and will provide years of reliability. Mechanical issues to address: Mechanically the car is sound. The rims are slightly pitted (pictured); The trunk will only open with the key. The trunk release cable is disconnected; paint is slightly fading on hood (very light and would not show in the picture). This vehicle is being offered for sale “AS-IS” because of year and miles. If you are new to Ebay or if you have fewer than 4 transactions, please contact me prior to bidding for approval to bid or I will cancel your bid immediately. There is a $125 documentation fee in addition to the final selling price. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required via Paypal within 48 hours of auction close. Transaction must be completed within 7 days of auction end (full payment and pick-up arrangements at least). I have done my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible. Once purchased, this car can be driven anywhere in the country without issue. For those of you who are not local, BWI (Baltimore) is the closest airport to my location. Contact me via email with any questions. Please bid with confidence and good luck. Missouri residents please do not bid on the vehicle unless you have a dealer/transport tag or a trailer to transport the vehicle to your state. Missouri has made their laws extremely difficult to purchase a vehicle out of state. On Jul-18-14 at 14:04:31 PDT, seller added the following information: ****UPDATE: trunk release is has been repaired and is now working!!!! |

2015 Toyota Sienna SE keeps the swagger, adds thoughtful updates [w/videos]
Thu, 17 Jul 2014Toyota found huge success with its "Swagger Wagon" rap video for the 2011 Sienna SE. It showed that a minivan could actually sort of maybe be fun and didn't have to be a lame vehicle for people who long ago lost their sense of humor. Now that there is a slight refresh for the 2015 model, the company is trying to capture that effervescent image again with a bunch of videos aimed at families.
For the latest launch, Toyota is partnering with some family-friendly online video stars and having them show off the Sienna's features. It's releasing YouTube videos from the creators of Action Movie Kid and Convos with My 2-Year-Old and a Vine from Eh Bee Family, and they all hope to show that it's cool to be a family with a minivan.
In terms of actual changes, though, the update is pretty light aesthetically, but the new tech inside seems aimed directly at mom and dad. However, unless you've got a sharp eye, spotting the exterior refresh might be tough. Toyota is tweaking the front end slightly by adding a dark mesh grille and trim. The headlights are also slightly reshaped to incorporate a new strip of available LED running lights.
Toyota releases its Le Mans recap, 'The Ultimate Endurance Race'
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Two weeks ago, Audi released its short video about this years 24 Hours of Le Mans, and now Toyota has put the experience into its own words and pictures. Called The Ultimate Endurance Race, the clip and accompanying press release focus on how hybrid power helped Toyota claim second and fourth places with the TS030 Hybrid in just its second year competing at Le Mans.
There are some brief scenes of the battles had this year, like when Lucas di Grassi in the Toyota almost kissed Allan McNish in the Audi above, but the best part might be when Toyota promises it will be back. Next year, it's gonna be good. You'll find the relevant words and the images just below.
Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race Scion FR-S [w/video]
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Toyota has been hosting its Pro/Celebrity race at the Toyota Grand Prix on Long Beach since 1977. The charity event, which has raised millions of dollars over the years, traditionally pits Hollywood celebrities against professional athletes (including race car drivers) on the full Grand Prix course in modified street vehicles. The short, sprint-style race is popular with the crowds as the amateur drivers race uninhibited - the result is an action-packed race with plenty of excitement and automotive... er... carnage.
Over the decades, the drivers have raced a variety of Toyota products including last year's front-wheel-drive Scion tC. But this year, Toyota announced at the Chicago Auto Show that the new rear-wheel-drive Scion FR-S would be stepping up to the plate. The good news only became better when Toyota Motorsports invited us out to Southern California's Willow Springs Raceway (the same circuit where the drivers train and practice) to be one of the first behind the wheel.
