2003 Toyota 4runner Limited Sport Utility 4-door 4.7l on 2040-cars

For sale is my 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V8 4X4 SUV. I spent almost a year looking for a 4Runner that was up to par with my expectations. Most of the ones I found had a lot of rust on the undercarriage and had other small problems. I finally found this 4Runner on a dealership lot. I had almost given up the ghost trying to find a great used 4Runner with the V8 motor that was 4 Wheel Drive when I happened to see it on there lot towards the back due to just trading it in. I checked it over and found no leaks and a huge surprise the underbody was in outstanding condition. Later that day I ended up purchasing it from the local Toyota Dealership and have had zero problems with it. The body of the vehicle is in great condition. There are a few minor scratches on the hood of the 4Runner near the front Toyota emblem but nothing major in my opinion for a vehicle such as this. Everything is stock on the 4Runner and everything works as it should. I keep it inside my garage and there are no leaks on my garage floor. I am the 3rd owner. The first owner had to the vehicle for I believe 20K and traded it. The next owner had it until they traded for a new Toyota I assume since it was traded in at the local Toyota dealership. I have been impressed with this SUV ever since I have owned it. I have had 3 other Toyota's (1-Tundra, 1-90's model truck, and 1-Sequoia) Toyota definitely knows how to make long lasting dependable vehicles! The only reason I am selling the 4Runner is to get a Tacoma or older model Toyota truck for my business and I just dont need the space of the SUV anymore. The wheels are in great shape and the tires are almost brand new I think I have somehwere between 1,500 and 2,000 miles on them. It does have a towing package I assume was factory installed. I have towed a small trailer with it and you can hardly tell its behind you with the V-8 motor. I can squeeze almost 21 MPG on the highway if I set cruise about 60 MPH and I get around 18 MPG within the city. I have kept this vehicle in the garage and just recently waxed it as well. Manga stylized Toyota Aygo takes on Godzilla

We're not sure the Toyota Aygo is necessarily one of them as much as, say, the Scion FR-S or Lexus LFA (especially since it's actually made in Europe), but for many Nipponophiles, the centuries-old artistic discipline of Manga certainly is. And now the two have come together in this two-and-a-half-minute animated short.
In Toyota's own take on the classic narrative, an Aygo animated by celebrated artist Sonia Leong takes on Godzilla. As in, a giant lizard rampaging through a Japanese city, not the Nissan GT-R, against which the little Toyota would certainly stand even less of a chance by any metric other than affordability, fuel economy or ability to park in tight spots.

Camatte concept puts the Toy back in Toyota [w/videos]
Mon, 16 Jun 2014It's been two years since Toyota first revealed its Camatte show car at the Tokyo Toy Show. Though sadly never destined for production, Toyota brought the concept back the following year as the Camatte 57s roadster, and is now returning to the same show with yet another take on the kid-friendly, configurable 1+2 with interchangeable body panels - this time with a slew of features that are fresh not only to the concept itself, but to the industry altogether.
This year the Camatte is being showcased in two forms: a bare chassis in the Tech Lab that lets kids see the inner workings of a modern automobile, and another in the Design Lab that lets kids draw their own motif for the concept that is then displayed on an LED hood.
The overall approach reminds us of the way Toyota's budget brand Daihatsu unveiled the Kopen roadster concept at the Tokyo Motor Show late last year, only even more kid-focused and decidedly more light-hearted than you might otherwise expect from one of the largest industrial giants in the world, and could only have been made for a toy exposition. Vote to unionize Toyota Canada plant faces delay
Fri, 04 Apr 2014Volkswagen isn't the only automaker with high-profile unionization efforts afoot at one of its North American factories. Unifor, Canada's largest private-sector union, is attempting to organize Toyota's factories in Ontario, reports Reuters. A vote was originally set for next week, but Unifor has apparently found more workers eligible to vote, delaying the proceedings. It hasn't rescheduled the ballot yet, but claims there are 7,500 employees with the right to vote, with over 3,000 having already signed union cards.
Toyota is pushing against organizing, saying that workers already have a payment and benefits near the top of the industry, and noting that it has never laid off a permanent employee in Canada. Unifor has reportedly countered by saying that about a quarter of the workforce is operating under a temporary contract, which receives lower benefits.
The automaker has three factories in Ontario - two in Cambridge and one in Woodstock. To form a union, a majority of eligible employees must vote to join Unifor. If successful, they would be the first wholly owned Toyota plants in North America to be organized. Previous attempts to unionize the Japanese automaker's Canadian factories in 2001 and 2008 failed due to lack of support.
