This auction is for a Very Nice 1987 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with Completely Rebuilt 22RE Engine runs great!!! The transmission & clutch are both in good condition with no leaks or problems... The engine has New Crankshaft, Bearings, Rings, Timing Set, Block wasn't bored (didn't need it), All New gaskets, ENGINE RUNS GREAT!!! The exterior of the vehicle is in decent condition as you can see in the pictures...With this being the SR5 model its loaded and has everything including a Sunroof!!! There is a couple small spots of rust, dents and some paint fading.
The interior is in decent condition, with some stains in the carpet & door panels... The dash is cracked as seen in the picture. In the rear cargo area the driver panel is broken in one section. The shift boot is in poor condition. Driver window switch does not work, but all of the other switches do work, including back window and antenna. This 4runner did have cruise control at one time, but now is missing some parts.
Tires in good condition with aluminum wheels.
Don't forget the top is removable! Perfect for the upcoming Spring days...

Fri, 11 Apr 2014Toyota brought its new i-Road, a three-wheeled, all-electric low-speed vehicle that debuted in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show, to the Capitol for some of our elected officials to test out. As easy as it is to forget that politicians are people, too, it was refreshing to see a human side to many of them as they zipped about one of the Capitol's many meeting rooms.
We'd say their reactions were surprisingly positive. Of course, some were just down there because Toyota is a big presence in their respective districts, but the bulk of the senators and representatives seemed like they just wanted to zip about the makeshift indoor course on the leaning trike.

But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.
Toyota sells off Tesla shares, too
Fri, 24 Oct 2014The incredible rise of Tesla's stock price has done little to now stop two major shareholders from ditching their stake in the American EV manufacturer. First, Daimler, parent company of Mercedes-Benz, ditched its four-percent stake, and less than a week later, Toyota is doing the same thing, selling off an undisclosed bit of its Tesla investment.
The move comes as Toyota winds down sales of the RAV4 EV, which gets its batteries and electric motor from Tesla at the company's Fremont, CA factory.
"We have a good relationship with Tesla, and will evaluate the feasibility of working together on future projects," Toyota spokesperson Kayo Doi told Bloomberg via email.
