2008 Scion XB.... Full custom box built for RE subs (2 8 in, 8 10 in, 1 15 in tuned to 38 hrz). 10" subs not included but the 8" ARE included. Back hatch has a 32 in flat screen tv built in to the box IS included, 2-5 fared Brand X and 5 Brand X amps staying with the car. Amp rack enclosed on bottom w/ plexiglass cover (totalling 12,000 watts). Some of the interior was cut up to install the sub box. Have all original stock interior pieces(such as door sills, kick panels,factory carpet. Easily able to be put back to stock. Just needs to replace the side plastic in back and headliner. Stock green/blue paint and rest of the interior. Still have back seats and in good condition. 19 inch Konig wheels. I have had this for 3 years and only put 10,000 miles on it. Not daily driven. The body does have some bumper cover damage on front and back. Damage only cosmetic. Does not affect reliability or drivability of car. I have talked with a body shop and they told me that it would be about $1000 to fix both bumper covers. Rims are not perfect. They have some curb rash but the tires are about 80%. I know that the loan value on a car with a rebuilt title is still in the neighborhood of $9000. I am asking less than this due to the damage. Customize a Scion, make it out of paper [w/video]
Fri, 14 Dec 2012Shin Tanaka is a "Japanese artist, graffiti writer, paper toy creator, designer" with Kennedy Center credentials - his Paper Shaper sneakers are especially popular. Scion has done a DIY collaboration with Tanaka that can get you every one of Scion's five models as a Paper Shaper.
There are two ways to get in on the auto origami, the first being to stop by the Scion booth if you happen by one of the coming season's auto shows. Since that's a lot of work and waiting to acquire a perforated sheet of paper, you can also download the Scion Paper Shaper app from iTunes. In the app you can customize your model, complete with custom paper sneakers on the custom paper base, then print it out and build it yourself.

Toyota recalling 11,200 Scion iQ models over faulty passenger sensors
Wed, 07 Nov 2012Toyota has announced a voluntary recall of 11,200 Scion iQ models from the 2012 and 2013 model years. According to the manufacturer, the problem with these pint-sized hatchbacks concerns the front passenger Occupant Classification System (OCS) weight sensor cables.
The OCS sensors in the front passenger seat control the operation of things like the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioner. In these affected models, the cables for these sensors located in the seat track can become damaged as the passenger seat slides forward and backward. And if the cables are damaged, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioner may not function properly.
No injuries or crashes have been reported in conjunction with this issue.
2014 Scion xD's available two-tone paint says 'I'm still here!'
Thu, 10 Oct 2013As we said in the title, the news here isn't a new, two-tone paint job for the Scion xD - it's that Scion is still building the oddly proportioned hatchback. For 2014, the xD will be available in two different color combinations, which will be split at the car's beltline.
The first combo, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Black Sand Pearl, puts the lighter shade on the bottom and the darker shade up top. The other combo, Sparkling Sea Metallic and Classic Silver Metallic (pictured), puts the more eye-catching color on the bottom.
Interested customers will need to shell out an additional $500 for the two-tone look. Other changes for the 2014 xD include a standard, 6.1-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth audio streaming and a iPod/USB connectivity.
