This VERY CLEAN & EXCEPTIONAL 2007 Saturn Aura XE was specially built by General Motors as the Prototype Concept Car for the 2006 European Autoshow Tour. The car was specifically painted a one-off color, Bella Red, just for the autoshow circuit ~ and more importantly the original instrument cluster has been changed from KPH to MPH for use in the United States by the owner, and was readjusted to read the correct mileage in miles instead of kilometers this year. All factory recommended replacement parts and services have been used with this vehicle and as per the 60,000 Mile Factory Service Schedule, all recommended maintenance services have been preformed by a certified service center within the last six months. This maintenance program has included a new battery, hoses and belts, water pump, fuel filter, tires, brake rotors and pads, spark plugs and wires, as well as a new distributor cap and rotor. All fluids have been changed as recently as this week, as well as a full tune-up preformed! This vehicle has been garage kept, non-smoker, and absolutely no accidents of any kind! This vehicle is absolutely in LIKE-NEW CONDITION and NEEDS NOTHING! Most all mileage is highway mileage on I-10 and I-75 between Lake Livingston, Texas and Sarasota, Florida. I am retiring and moving to the islands on June, 28th of 2014 ~ So someone is going to most likely own the nicest pre-owned Saturn Aura XE left in the country. Clever video selling Saturn Ion "sex machine" will catch your eye

Report: Saturn owners offered $2,000 to stick with GM products
Mon, 15 Feb 2010After its decision to euthanize Oldsmobile, General Motors knows exactly what happens when it mothballs one of its brands: GM loses market share to the competition. The General is trying to stop history from repeating itself with Saturn customers by offering $2,000 on the hood of every car and crossover donning the ringed planet badge. Automotive News says the offer actually started on February 2 and runs until the end of March. To be eligible for the $2,000 bounty Saturn owners must have leased or purchased their Saturn at least six months ago. Interestingly, those owners don't even have to turn in their Saturn to be eligible for the cash.
AN reports that research company R.L. Polk says even before Saturn went on the endangered species list, it lagged other GM nameplates in the all-important aspect of customer retention. The mass exodus from Saturn loyalty predictably intensified at the end of 2008 as customers became anxious over the future of the brand. For its part, GM insists that all Saturn warranties will be upheld and customers looking for service can still go to a GMC, Chevy, Buick or Cadillac dealership.

Saturn Vue ignition switch leads to new group of GM recalls totaling 312k
Fri, 08 Aug 2014General Motors has another spate of recalls to announce. This time they cover 312,280 vehicles worldwide, including 269,041 of in the US, in a total of six campaigns. In 2014, the automaker has recalled 29,079,765 vehicles worldwide, with 25,754,356 of those in the US.
The largest among them covers 215,243 units of the Saturn Vue from 2002-2004 model years worldwide, 202,115 in the US. It's possible for the for the key to be removed even when the ignition isn't in the OFF position. The company knows of two crashes and one injury caused by this problem. Dealers are checking the parts and replacing the ignition cylinder and key set, if necessary.
Next is 72,826 models worldwide (48,059 vehicles in the US) of the 2013 Cadillac ATS four-door sedan, 2013 Buick Encore and 2013 Chevy Trax in Canada. It's possible that the for lap belt pretensioner to retract but not to lock, which could increase occupant movement during a crash. Both front, outboard lap belt pretensioners are being replaced, and a stop-sale is in effect on unsold models until the problem is repaired. There are no known crashes or injuries, though.
