2007 Saab 9-3 Aero Sport Combi, one owner, just under 49,0000 miles.  This car is in excellent condition, no kids, no smoking, no accidents and always garaged.  Fusion blue with parchment interior.  The car has brand new front brakes, good tires, and was just detailed inside and out.  Power seats, power windows, power locks, moonroof, leather, heated front seats, 6 disc in-dash CD changer, cruise, automatic climate control, roof rails, rain sensing wipers, tilt/telescoping wheel, driver's memory seat, and parking assist.

Exterior: In excellent condition.  The paint is in excellent condition and was just washed, waxed and buffed.  A few, very minor door dings, some scratches on the back bumper. The front air dam has some damage which is typical of these cars.  My mechanic has secured it and says it’s fine.  A couple of cracks and the bottom is scuffed up.  Wheels are in great shape, but some minor curb scratches on the rims.  Tires have plenty of tread.

Interior: The interior is near perfect.  Passenger’s and back seats are perfect.  The back seat was rarely used.  Cargo area has been covered with a protective mat since new (will be sold with the car).  Carpet is perfect and always covered with mats.  The interior was just detailed, including leather cleaning/conditioning and carpet cleaning. The only visible wear is on the drivers seat, with some worn leather and staining on the outside bolster.   Includes custom fitted sun shade.

Drivetrain: The car was mostly serviced by a dealer under the warranty and maintenance program.  A few minor repairs and services have been made at a local independent shop.  No issues with the engine or transmission.  Front brakes were replaced 3 weeks ago.

Please check out the pictures to see how perfect this car is.  There aren’t many 9-3s around in this good of condition.  Contact me with any questions.

Deal brokered to get Saab warranty service honored at GM dealers

Mon, 24 Dec 2012

When Pontiac, Hummer and Saturn were killed off, at least current owners never had to question where they would have to take their vehicle in case it needed to be serviced. The same couldn't be said for Saab owners... until now. General Motors and Saab Automobile Parts North America (the remaining entity of the bankrupted automaker) have signed an agreement that provides 179 service centers to current Saab owners to receive factory-trained technicians and official Saab replacement parts.
These warranty service providers will have all the tools, training and parts to maintain and repair Saab vehicles, and they will also have access to a technical assistance center for the technicians. Next year, SPNA will also set up a customer assistance center, which will likely be most useful in helping current owners find repair shows, as well as a program called Saab Secure to give added service support to owners of late model (2010 and 2011 model year) Saab vehicles. Finally, to make sure customers have a sufficient parts supply to keep their cars on the road, SPNA operates out of a 153,000 square foot warehouse in Michigan that has the ability to ship more than 3,000 parts orders per day.
GM's official press release on the agreement is posted after the jump.

Saab 900 SPG is the latest Petrolicious love story

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

The latest video from the crew at Petrolicious covers one funky Swede - a 1989 Saab 900 SPG. Produced from 1978 to 1998, the 900 enjoyed a long history, and thanks to its iconic look, it's quickly becoming a modern classic for the off-kilter car enthusiast. The SPG, short for Special Performance Group, makes this a particularly rare find, with owner Jordan Melville saying, "I didn't even realize what I had at the time."
Melville gives a rundown of his life with the 900 and his passion for Saab overall, even reflecting on that dark day that saw the Swedish brand closed its doors. As always, the videography is excellent and the story is intriguing in this latest video from Petrolicious. You can view the entire video down below.

Super sleeper Saab 900 does 174 mph in the standing mile

Sun, 14 Apr 2013

Somewhere behind Hennessey setting a new top speed record at this year's Texas Mile with its camouflage Ford GT, a stock-looking 1996 Saab 900T pulled up to the line to see what it could do. The dealer showroom wheels wouldn't offer any indication that the 2.0-liter four-cylinder under the hood was getting help from a Garrett turbocharger, a tuned ECU and E85 gas to put out 465 horsepower at the front wheels.
Knowing that, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that at the other end of the mile the sky blue Swedish wonder was doing 174 miles per hour. The four-cylinder class at the Texas Mile has plenty such rockets, too, this Swede coming just behind a Dodge Neon that did 175.8 mph. You can watch the Saab do its thing in the video below.
