(We bought it as a non runner, but after few fuses, fresh battery and 2 gallons of gas, the car started right up and it drives great) Electronic transmission shifts smoothly. Red leather seats, all ORIGINAL are in solid shape with exception of drivers seat. Paint has a very nice gloss and it looks great from distance, but up close there is oxidation and cracking . Overall it is nice, however body work and paint is a must to make this beautiful again. (There is slight bubbling as well as tiny cracks). All power windows work good, as well as the horn and stereo. All chrome (grille, bumpers, levers, trims around windows...etc) is in good condition, nothing missing, nothing broken. (please see pictures) All wood is good but clear coat needs re-varnishing on the doors. Please see pictures. There are no broken or missing pieces. All hoses and belts look good; oil/fluids changed recently. Alternator changed recently with all the belts (please see pictures). New Carpet (Or original one in extremely good condition. New Electronic Starter makes the vehicle start right up. Original rear defrost window. Brakes were rebuilt several years ago, and they are working good but the lines are rusted and two of them cracked to a point that they are losing fluid, so there is no . Original Smith Bevelift Jack. Rolls-Royce to reach 4,000 units this year
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Rolls-Royce is, by nature, an exclusive auto marque, but it has been steadily increasing its sales to the point that it could be looking at 4,000 units by the end of this year, setting a new record for the German-owned British automaker.
You don't even need to go back a decade to find Rolls-Royce sales hovering around the 1,000-unit mark. But that was when Goodwood only offered the Phantom saloon. The subsequent addition of the Phantom DHC and Phantom Coupe helped expand its portfolio, enlarged even further by the addition of the Ghost in 2010, by which time total sales were reaching 3,000 units.
The Spirit of Ecstasy marque has been hovering around the 3,500 mark ever since, but with the Wraith now in the mix and its reach extending into growing markets around the world, Autocar reports that global sales could top 4,000 units this year. (Of course that pales in comparison to one-time sister brand Bentley, which topped 10,000 deliveries last year, but Rolls-Royce typically competes at a higher price bracket.)
Rolls-Royce teases Wraith debut in Geneva
Fri, 18 Jan 2013Rolls-Royce is headed to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a new addition to its lineup: the Wraith. The ultra-luxury automaker says it plans to start deliveries by the fourth quarter of this year, though details are scarce at the moment. The automaker has contented itself with saying the Wraith will the "most dynamic, powerful and beautiful Rolls-Royce in the company's history." We hear it will be the most modest, too.
Rolls-Royce first began using the Wraith nameplate in 1938. The original car used a tweaked version of the 4.3-liter inline six-cylinder found in the company's 25/30, but its real claim to fame came from the fact that it boasted speed-variable hydraulic dampers. Capable of reaching speeds of up to 85 miles per hour, Rolls-Royce only built 492 examples of the vehicle's chassis.
You can look for the new Wraith to bow at the Geneva Motor Show in March. In the interim, check out the shockingly bare press release below and get ready for a spate of teasers to follow.
Rolls-Royce Ghost gets in the pink for breast cancer charity
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Rolls-Royce has unveiled a special version of its extended-wheelbase Ghost, called FAB1, with the hopes of helping to raise more than one million pounds (roughly $1.5 million) for a UK charity named Breast Cancer Care. Over the next year, the FAB1 Million Project will see this pink Ghost used to raise money by renting it out for special events and occasions with all of the proceeds going to the charity.
More than just a pretty pink paint job, though, this Ghost demonstrates some of the bespoke options you can order from Rolls-Royce, including pink carpeting, pink leather, pink center caps and even a pink umbrella tucked into the door. The full press release for this Ghost can be found below.
