2014 PORSCHE CAYMAN S - PDK/SPORT CHRONO – LIKE NEW.
The car has always been garaged, and washed by hand at least once a week. There are no scratches or nicks on the car. It looks as it did when I bought it, inside and out. The wheels don’t have a mark on them. The car was covered with a clear bra by Brumos when I bought it, and it still looks like new as well. It covers the lower portion of the hood, the bumper, the front of the fenders, and the mirrors. Of course, there have been no accidents and no paintwork, and nothing has been modified on the car. The floor mats are brand new.
The car has the leather interior option, and if you haven’t seen the difference between this and the standard interior, you need to look at that. The dash is done in leather with stitching as opposed to the standard vinyl finish, and the leather door panels have the polished aluminum strip which is missing on the standard interior cars. To me, it is a night and day difference.
Other options include:
-PDK transmission
-Sport Chrono Package – includes dynamic engine mounts and sport-plus mode
-Bi-Xenon headlights with Dynamic Light System (lights turn when cornering)
-19” Boxster S Wheels
-Bose infotainment surround sound package with navigation
-Premium Package
-14 way power sport seats with memory
-SportDesign steering wheel with aluminum paddles
-Wheel center caps with colored Porsche crest
-Rhodium Silver metallic with Black leather interior

Porsche 918 Spyder configurator goes live
Fri, 13 Sep 2013That didn't take long. The debut model of the new Porsche 918 Spyder is still thronged by onlookers at the Frankfurt Motor Show, while the German sports car maker is hard at work putting the first version of the supercar's configuration page online. Considering Porsche configurators are some of our favorite time-wasters of the genre, we expect car-guy productivity to drop by a few percentage points over the rest of the day.
So, the 918 dream-maker doesn't list and prices as yet, and that's too bad. But considering the car is due to start off at $845,000 in the US, chances are good that unless you're reading this from the shallow end of your Uncle Scrooge-spec money pool, the cost of any part of the 918 is academic to you anyway.
To start, Porsche is offering twelve paint colors, three wheel choices and seven two-tone interior treatments. Standard lightweight bucket seats and a set of chairs with "firmer padding" are on offer, too. The options list is mostly populated with interior bits, though many - an anti-reflection interior, fire extinguisher, six-point seatbelts - are racing-oriented or functional. Note that Porsche is also kind enough to offer just one cupholder as an optional extra; the unit is made of aluminum and is detachable so that you won't have to carry the extra weight during racing. Also, Porsche probably puts you on some kind of naughty 'list' if you order one...
Proof the world revolves around the Porsche Cayman
Sat, 27 Apr 2013Or at least the world revolves underneath the Porsche Cayman, in the latest video showing off Stuttgart's mid-engine coupe. Porsche put an Easter egg in the world that spins triple-time, a "famous relative" of the Cayman hidden somewhere on the marble planet, and gave a Porsche Martini bag to one of the first 50 people who could point it out.
With more than 300 views there's no chance you'll win the bag, but you can still go on the treasure hunt in the video below.
Porsche 918 Spyder debuts with new N"urburgring lap record [w/video]
Tue, 10 Sep 2013It's been a long time in the making, but Porsche has finally revealed the final production version of its long-awaited 918 Spyder here at the Frankfurt Motor Show. And yet that's not even the big news surrounding the hybrid hypercar.
No, the big news is that, while Porsche was preparing taking the wraps off the car here in Frankfurt, elsewhere in Germany a team was setting a blistering lap time at the Nürburgring. And not just any blistering lap time, but a new world record.
Porsche claims that, on the morning of September 4, a team of three drivers (including former rally champ Walter Röhrl and Porsche test drivers Timo Kluck and Marc Lieb) broke the Nordschleife lap record, Lieb finally setting the best time at 6:57 at an average of 111 miles per hour.
