2000 Porsche Boxster
NO RESERVE AUCTION!
Here is a great example of a 2000 Porsche Boxster... I am helping my father sell this car and he has had it for about 8 years now and it has been a great car. He is over 60 and wants to get something a little less sporty so I am listing this for him. He has clean and clear title in hand! He took really good care of this car as you can see and it drives great as well. Had brakes recently installed, fresh oil change recently, and the car was smogged as well. Everything on the car works as it should and only real noticable thing is the back window is missing. It was fading so bad he couldn't see and had it removed. It is a garaged car so never had an issue with no window and actually preferred it! Car comes with the tiptronic transmission, Bose premium sound, CD player, power seats, power top, power window, alarm, automatic climate control and I am sureI am missing a few things so any questions please ask.
I am listing this with a NO RESERVE so please only bid if you have the money ready to buy the car. I have had some bad experiences in the past on higher dollar transactions so please respect the time and money involved and only bid if you are serious. You get to set your price as I am starting it at a ridiculously low price! You can always come and see the car if you are local we just need to arrange it.
Any questions please ask!

Petrolicious details why the Porsche 911 is something special
Thu, 26 Sep 2013The Porsche 911 is a special car, if for no other reasons than it's been continuously produced since 1964, with nearly every generation regarded as being at or near the top of its class. But why the rear-engined icon has done so well among enthusiasts and regular drivers alike can't always be explained easily. To truly understand the 911, you have to experience the whole package, and that means driving one.
While just about every publication has raved about the Porsche, commercial director, race driver, photographer and 911 owner Jeff Zwart explains to Petrolicious why he was drawn to the legend as a young child, and why he still loves them today.
Zwart's professional and personal life are inextricably linked to the 911, and hearing him talk about the car and its history makes for fascinating viewing. Watch the video below to hear Zwart's story and see him drive a couple examples from his collection: an early 911 and the 964-generation Carrera 4 he won Pikes Peak with for the first time - a car that happens to be equipped with the 959 Paris-Dakar's fascinating torque-split transmission. Enjoy!
Mercedes-AMG GT vs. Porsche 911 [w/poll]
Thu, 11 Sep 2014Mercedes-Benz designed the AMG GT to compete head-on with the Porsche 911. It's a clear, singular purpose, and Benz brings a lot of money, technology and race-bred expertise to the fight.
The AMG GT is Merc's followup to the awesome SLS AMG, the retro-modern, gullwing-doored coupe that took us by storm half a decade ago. But this new GT coupe is a more focused sports car than the SLS, rather than an all out supercar capable of extreme performance. It's got a brand-new V8 engine, and state-of-the-art technology that help it to not only be a proper Mercedes, but to be a serious performer.
Mercedes will sell its new baby in two models. The GT S arrives first, in spring 2015, followed by the standard GT in mid-2016. Of course, there's room to grow from there. And while Porsche may have already expanded its 911 range to include a vast variety of models, here's how Stuttgart's icon stacks up against Affalterbach's bad boy.
Race Recap: 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans defines 'endurance'
Mon, 16 Jun 2014Commenting on the rush of events that rocked beginning and end of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Paul Truswell of Radio Le Mans said "the race is about the ability to endure, not just the ability of drivers to do what they do for a long time." The entire race machine, all the way down to the pit boards and radios, has to survive the stress and abuse of the entire day. This was the race to prove those words.
There were two Toyotas, two Porsches and three Audis, five of the seven led the race at some point, six of the seven ran in the top three. Toyota will be hugely disappointed that it didn't win when its car and drivers were so, so strong, but they gave Audi the kind of scare we haven't seen since the best of Peugeot's days, and Toyota did a better job of it even in the loss. Porsche blew away everyone's expectations, falling 3.5 hours short of a fairy tale ending that would have made Disney cry.
But Le Mans doesn't really do fairy tales. Well, not that fairy tale. Audi's Twitter handle during the event was #welcomechallenges. As usual, Le Mans answered for the entire field.
