This 1998 Porsche Boxster is in very nice original condition. 5 speed with cold a/c runs and drives very nice. Car has just had mobile 1 synthetic oil change and brand new tires all around. Car has been driven regularly, and has not been sitting around. Airbag light is on, like a lot of them. Exterior Paint is in okay condition and looks nice, but has a few chips and dings in front hood, passenger door had a 4" slight crease in it, and a few chips of paint missing here and there. Car is original paint except front bumper has been re sprayed from bugs etc. Keep in mind this car is 15 years old and is in good condition for its age, but not perfect. Car has been well cared for, and has not been tracked or auto crossed.
It was bought in March of 2010 and had 55,248 miles on it, clutch was replaced sometime close to that point and is working well still. I have multiple boxsters and this one has been very trouble free, but must sell to complete a few newer projects. will make a very nice Porsche for the new owner.
Interior is in good condition as well for its age, I would say above average.
Convertible top works with no issues and is in good condition as well.
a/c is very cold and all systems are in working order except the air bag light is on.
Car is for sale locally and may be taken off due to local sale.
Title is free and clear and in hand.

A closer look at the 2015 Porsche Macan
Wed, 27 Nov 2013
He assured us that "this is a sports car."
Porsche took the wraps off its all-new 2015 Macan at the LA Auto Show last week, and while it's easy to write it off as just a badge-engineered version of the Audi Q5, you'd be very, very wrong. For starters, 75 percent of the car's platform was re-engineered by the Porsche team, and with a choice of two twin-turbocharged engines, the Macan should absolutely live up to the brand's pedigree.
UK Porsche GT3 owners are irked that other countries are getting better deals
Sun, 27 Apr 2014Porsche 911 GT3 owners in the United Kingdom are up in arms, but it's not for the reason you might think. Okay, well it sort of is. See, it's been fairly well documented that 911 GT3 owners have had their cars grounded over concerns that the engines could catch fire. Porsche is rushing to build and install replacement engines in all 800 or so cars, scattered around the globe.
This isn't really the issue. The problem for these British owners is compensation. While the car's have been grounded, car notes still need to be paid. To deal with this, American GT3 owners are being paid $2,000 per month. German owners get 175 euros ($242 at today's rates) per day while a GT3 owner in Dubai is allegedly receiving $12,000 (it's unclear if this is a lump sum or a monthly payment). Basically, if you aren't able to drive your six-figure super car, you shouldn't have to pay for it. Seems reasonable regardless of the make.
British owners, though, aren't being compensated, and for 30 to 35 owners, that's not acceptable. They've banded together and are led by Sunil Mehra.
Porsche close to fix for 911 GT3 engine fires
Sun, 16 Mar 2014It looks like 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 drivers might actually get to drive their cars again soon. Reports of fires affecting the track-ready Germans first began about a month ago. Then, a few days later, the automaker confirmed two of the five alleged blazes and said owners shouldn't drive their cars until further notice. Porsche then went so far as to offer to pick up the GT3s and transport them to the nearest dealer until the problem was identified and a fix was found. Finally, there appears to be a repair.
"We know the reason and the problem-solving measures. We're testing them," said Porsche CEO Matthias Müller to Bloomberg. The technical fix will be released to owners shortly.
The recall affects all 785 GT3s that have been sold so far, but there have been no reported injuries caused by the fires. When it first announced the safety campaign, Porsche said: "Internal studies to determine the cause of the engine damage have not been completed yet."
