I have owned this car for twenty years, and it has been babied, never hit the red line. Shift at 3000 rpm, cruises at 80 mph in 5th at 3200 rpm. The car is very clean inside and out. Has a minor crack in the dash, but is very thin-may be repairable. Driver mirror does not adjust, has a few very minor dings-hardly noticeable. No tears in seats, has new tires. This is a very quiet and comfortable road car which I would drive anywhere. Can get almost 30 mpg if driven gingerly. The handling is outstanding-typical of Porsche. I am only selling it because I have too many cars and need to get the herd to a controlable level.

Porsche 911: Big in Taiwan

By and large, the views expressed in this video could have come from anywhere in the world. The 911 is a great car and that doesn't change from country to country. These enthusiasts have the same passion that fans in England, the United States or Germany have for the Carrera. Driving 50 years of Porsche 911 history
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Raiding The Porsche Museum For A Fun Track Day
It seems everyone is celebrating anniversaries this year: it's Aston's hundredth, Lamborghini's fiftieth, Ford Mustang's fiftieth, Chevy Corvette's sixtieth - and Tesla just turned ten or something. It's been a little out of hand, frankly, all these forced marketing festivities, but if we had to pick one milestone to really celebrate hard and party all night, the Porsche 911 would be at the top of our list.
Get ready for a major 911 blowout bash at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show. It was on September 12 back in 1963 at this very show where Porsche unveiled its "901" painted in a rather boring shade of beige. Though drably finished, the car caused a worldwide frenzy in the budding German sports car sphere.
A few pre-race notes and a lot of photos from the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Sat, 14 Jun 2014The 82nd running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is on.
Audi has won 12 of the last 15 events, the scion of Auto Union is trying to make it 13 this year. To do so, it will have to overcome a situation faced only three other times during its dominance of La Sarthe: underdog status. Toyota has won the first two races of the year and claimed pole for this race, the rumor being that this year it's Toyota's race to lose.
And then there's Porsche. It's been 16 years since the Stuttgart brand raced on the top rung at Le Mans, three years years since it announced its return, just a year since it acquired Mark Webber in a signing that wasn't subtle and a few months since we got eyes on the 919 Hybrid.
