Good: Blue w white leather (linen) Nice manual blue top w good clear window 103 k original miles original Blaupunkt Stereo w Blaupunkt EQ 5 speed manual ,,,spare tire Clean new looking carpet hifonics factory package Original wheels Newer tires Parade boot Subwoofer w enclosed small low profile box Motor is super clean No oil leaks Tinted windows are legal 2+2 seater Perfect top ....manual ..no leaks Original owners manual and radio code some records Original floor mats Sc ..has leak. Will last a summer ..have just refilled every summer Have replaced ac compressor (6 months old ) Brembo factory brakes Good rubber high performance tires (4) My Porsche performs as it should mechanically 100%. It runs AWESOME! I am a mature adult and no longer need a convertible since I have purchased a new Volvo Wagon . This was a weekend or once a month toy, parked in a climate controlled warehouse . Could use a fog light , inside door handle and some other minor cosmetics such as a radio knob but it is nice as is .dash has small cracks and windshield also has crack...drive seat has bolster wear ...not to bad ...other than that it is nice The vehicle is in Dallas , rust free and can be driven anywhere ..daily driver or a weekend toy ******salvage title It has a salvage title due to a joy ride. The car was mostly bumper damage a Google the VIN number and Porsche and you can see it was light damage , why salvage I dint know . I have all paperwork and Title to transfer after a local inspection . It will pass.it is currently inspected and road ready and worth to make any trip . I drove to El Paso Texas with it . |

Motor Trend hits Laguna Seca with Ferrari F12, Chevy Corvette, Porsche 911
Thu, 26 Sep 2013According to the crew at Motor Trend, we should think of the video below "as an addendum to Best Driver's Car," a test the magazine put together that elevated the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S above all others in the category of driving joy. It seems the brand-new 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray wasn't able to take part in the magazine's official test, and neither was the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
And so Motor Trend did the only logical thing: It procured both the 'Vette and Prancing Horse as soon as it could, and put them both on track with the Driver's Car-winning 911. Of course, these cars don't actually compete against each other - the Ferrari offers up 731 horsepower and wears an asking price of $434,144 as tested, which means you could buy four loaded Corvettes for the price of one F12, and still have money left for a garage to store them in - but that's not the point of this particular test.
The point of this test isn't to listen to the beautiful sounds coming from the Porsche's flat-six-cylinder, the Corvette's pushrod V8 or the Ferrari's luscious V12, either, but the video below is worth watching for those three reasons alone. You know what to do.
Porsche calls in The Committee for Boxster and Cayman GTS
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Porsche is set to offer up the very first GTS variants of its more affordable Boxster convertibles and Cayman coupes. This is very good news for enthusiasts. Aside from our original post announcing the hotted up models, though, Porsche hasn't given us much to go on.
And you know what? This video isn't much of help either. It's called The Committee, and we're guessing it's meant to highlight the lengths that Porsche went to in designing what are essentially sportier trim levels for its two most affordable entries. Still, it's a stylized and entertaining video with a few entertaining driving scenes scattered throughout, and it gives just a small glimpse of Porsche's view of the vaunted GTS badge.

Jay Leno plugs himself into Porsche's 918 Spyder

With his 1963 Porsche 356 and his 2005 Carrera GT flanking a Liquid Silver 918, Leno takes us through the basics of this plug-in hybrid roadster alongside Daniel Eastman of Porsche North America. Following the chat, Leno and Eastman take the German-plated car through the streets of California, testing it in a number of modes and even going on a short, all-electric freeway cruise.
