This is a nice example of a 928 S  Porsche.  The body is in great condition, as is the interior.

The mechanics seem ok, everything works, except the a/c, which problably needs recharge.

There is no rust on the body, and no rips on the interior.   The glass is all fine.  The tires are in good condition.   Nice black on black car.

This is an all around nice car.  I get praises everywhere I go.  I can truly say that it is almost    showroom condition.

The car is located in Surrey, BC, about 20 minutes from the Bellingham, WA, border, in Canada.

I can have the car transported to Bellingham for 200.00, and there is a storage facility there that charges 50.00 per month for storage.

ALSO;   I can have the car shipped anywhere in the continnental U.S.   for   $975.00.

Please email and ask any questions that you may have. If you require more pictures, please send your email address.    If you are the winning bidder, the price bid on is the price that is expected to be paid.  The car is not perfect, as no car this age can expected to be.  The car is being sold as is, with no warranties.   Thank you

Also do not bid unless you are intending to purchase the car.   I will answer any questions that you have.  Also, I can be reached at 778 385 4084

Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer

An Iconic Sports Car, Restored to Seduce
I have been strapped behind the iconic Momo Prototipo steering wheel for a little more than an hour, all windows down as I carve my way up a rugged canyon during an unusually warm Southern California evening, and I am overwhelmed with emotion. My heart is pounding out of my chest, my breathing is heavy and my palms are sweaty because I am completely absorbed by this wondrous machine.
After waiting patiently for nearly four years, I am finally behind the wheel of a classic Porsche 911 restored, modified and tuned by Singer Vehicle Design. The vehicle that surrounds me never rolled off an automaker's assembly line in its current configuration, yet its physical appearance is timeless, build quality breathtaking and driving dynamics peerless.

The pre-race and first in-race report from Le Mans

Sat, 22 Jun 2013

The 2013, 90th anniversary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans has begun, tragedy marking the opening laps with the death of Allan Simonsen. We're at the track now as a guest of Audi and plan to stay through the evening, and even we haven't been able to find out what caused the accident - the only video is from just after the incident, and beyond the statement from ACO there's been no more news. The Aston Martin in the LM GTE Am class and its all-Danish drivers had taken pole in its class and was one of the favorites to win.
The pre-race report will come first, and even thought we can't spoil the race because we're only five hours into it at the time of writing, we'll put all of the news at the end in case you don't even want the updates.
Or you can go straight to the high-res galleries above.

NYT profiles Blue Nelson, a reclusive and interesting CA car collector

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

If it weren't for his Dale Earnhardt Sr. looks, Blue Nelson could be one one of those soft-spoken, nondescript guys whom you meet briefly and never learn much more about. However, as The New York Times shows in a recent profile and video, behind closed doors, Nelson keeps a fascinatingly eclectic collection of automotive oddities and vintage bicycles.
While his main career is in the movie industry, Nelson's other job is as a car hunter. He takes on clients searching for a specific model and helps them find and restore the dream vehicle that they're after. Hiring him takes some dedication, though, because Nelson doesn't advertise his services. "If people want to find me, they know how to find me," he says in the video.
Beyond being an automotive private detective, Nelson has a fantastically varied collection of vehicles of his own. He likes to have models that people don't usually see, and his garage holds a classic Chrysler New Yorker and an extremely rare Rometsch convertible. Although, the one that means the most to him is the 1962 Porsche 356 convertible that Blue came home in as a baby. Check out the video to learn more about Nelson and his philosophy about forming a bond with a car.
