ITS BEEN GARAGED FOR THE LAST 12 MONTHS AND STARTED WEEKLY AND LEFT TO RUN FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES PER WEEK. THE GOOD: 1-NEVER OVERHEATS, COOLING SYSTEM GOOD. 2-BODY IN GOOD CONDITION, PANELS DOORS AND FENDERS IN GREAT CONDITION BODY WISE. 3-ENGINE RUNNING STRONG, NO SMOKE FROM EXHAUST 4-NEW BATTERY. 5-SIX PORSCHE FACTORY TELEPHONE DIAL WHEELS 7-LEATHER FACTORY POWER SEATS IN GREAT CONDITION. 8-CENTER CONSOLE, REAR SEATS AND STEERING WHEEL IN GREAT CONDITION, 9-AIR CONDITIONING FAN WORKS, POWER WINDOWS AND POP UP HEADLIGHTS WORKING FINE 10-REAR TRUNK AREA RUST FREE 11-VACCUM DOOR LOCKS WORK AND COMES WITH 3 FACTORY KEYS 12-ORIGINAL 1984 OWNERS MANUAL AND WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE BOOK WITH ORIGINAL STAMPS 13-INTERIOR DOOR PANELS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE BAD: 1-POWER STEERING PUMP LEAKING, HOWEVER, THE POWER STEERING DOES WORK, I TOP OFF THE FLUID EVERY MONTH. 2-TRANSMISSION LEAKING FLUID AND APPEARS TO BE SLIPPING IN DRIVE POSITION. Porsche Museum highlights history of the 911 RSR
Sat, 12 Jan 2013Porsche has amassed quite an impressive trophy case in just about every racing series it has ever entered, and one of its most dominant machines has to be the 911 RSR from the 1970s. Taking part in various GT-class competitions, the 911 RSR managed to take home three international and seven German victories in 1973, its very first year of competition.
Not one to downplay its racing successes, Porsche has released an informative video detailing the 911 RSR's impressive heritage. The 1973 RSR model owned by the Porsche Museum is detailed beautifully on video, and we have to say it looks absolutely stunning in its vintage Martini Racing livery.

Porsche creates 'symphony' with seven generations of 911
Wed, 02 Oct 2013At Porsche, things are getting a bit wild on the 50th anniversary year of the 911. To celebrate it (again) in yet another inventive way, the automaker has called on the musical talents of seven generations of the rear-engine sports car (please suspend your disbelief, at least for the length of the video, and assume that generation two started in 1974) to perform a song that has eight notes. We're wondering which 911 is pulling double duty...
But before the Porsches are lined up for the short recital, the drivers let loose and drift them inside a hangar. Watch the video below, and tell us in comments which was more impressive: the song or the drifting.
Porsche slathers Martini livery on 911, Panamera, Macan and Cayenne
Mon, 20 Oct 2014This is how we imagine the conversation went in Porsche's Stuttgart headquarters: "Martini livery. Martini livery all the things." Okay, so maybe not, but that hasn't stopped Porsche from showing off images of its entire lineup bearing the iconic racing livery.
While we aren't sure about the questionably yellow 911 and lime green Macan, the navy blue Cayenne and the white Panamera both look pretty spectacular as they lap about the streets of Sochi, Russia.
As for why the liveried sports cars and crossovers were at the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics, we aren't totally sure. Porsche's Facebook page, where the images first popped up, was really light on details. Whatever the reason, we fully support Porsche doing more with Martini livery.
