We are Windy Hill Imports and have been in business in Atlanta for close to 30 years. We are proud to offer this very hard to find 2007 Porsche C4S cabriolet in cobalt blue with black leather. It is a one owner Atlanta car that was traded back in at the local Porsche dealer it was purchased from new.It has not had ANY paintwork or damage during it's life, and has a perfect Carfax and Autocheck. The car comes with all the service tickets from the Porsche dealer, they are all up to date.My Porsche mechanic looked it over and found no issues, we changed the oil and the brakes have about 60% left. The tires are MIchelin pilots and have about 10,000 miles on them. There are no warning lights on and everything works as it should. The car also had at the dealer about $1400.worth of clear shield installed to prevent chips. The options include full leather, sport and both power seats, navigation, premium stereo,19" wheels, red calipers, painted crests, heated seats The car also comes with all the factory books , manuals, and both keys .Yes, i know it has a few more miles than you would like, but we drive cars like this all year round here in Atlanta and i personally like a car that is driven all the time vs garage queens from up north.                If you look at my feedback i have delivered cars sight unseen across the country and overseas with 100% satisfaction. This car is offered well below book value and is for sale locally and may end at any time without notice. We are a licensed dealer and must collect sales tax from Georgia residents. There is a $85 documentation fee.   As you can see we are NOT a big fancy dealership, but you are not buying the building, just the car. If you have any questions, please call Greg at 404-520-0121.  I am the owner of Windy Hill Imports,,,thanks for looking

Porsche recalls new 911 models over exhaust pipe issues

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

Porsche, though the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, announced a voluntary recall on about 2,200 911 Carrera and Carrera 4 models built during the 2012 and 2013 model years. On cars equipped with the standard exhaust system it was found that the tailpipes could separate from the mufflers and become dangerous road debris; models that added the optional sport exhaust system are not included in this recall.
Affected vehicles were built between March and November of last year, but there have been no reports of the problem on any customer-owned vehicles. Porsche first noticed a cracked tailpipe weld on a test vehicle back in May, and since then has found similar problems on other internally owned vehicles, all with more than 25,000 miles on the clock. To fix the problem, dealers will be replacing the mufflers. Scroll down to read the official notice.

The 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona: What we learned, what we saw

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

Two days after the flag dropped on the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona, people are still trying to figure out what it might portend for the rest of the season. In 24 hours, two minutes and 24 seconds, 695 laps were completed by the car that crossed the line first. During that time, 67 cars began the race, 18 of them retired. There was that accident, and a red flag. There were supposedly slower classes beating supposedly faster classes. There were 16 caution periods, including that yellow flag. And then there was The Decision. And Then The Uproar. And then The Reversal.
There was also some pretty good racing, so let's have one last look at the weekend. Oh, and there was that 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO Series II...
If you want to skip the reading bits and go to the photos, there's a high-res gallery of 158 images above and a couple more below. Enjoy.

Porsche 918 Spyder already almost sold out?

Mon, 20 Oct 2014

Still planning on getting your hands on a Porsche 918 Spyder? You'd better act quickly, because word has it that the hybrid hypercar is nearly sold out.
While Porsche has reportedly only delivered a little over 30 of the 918 examples of the Spyder it plans to manufacture in total, Automotive News says that production is sold out through late March or early April - just a few months shy of when production is set to wrap in July.
That's pretty impressive for a car with a base price of almost $850,000, especially one requiring a $200,000 deposit just to get your name on the list. Still, that sum is significantly less than its competitors get for the McLaren P1 or LaFerrari, both of which sell for over a million (if you can actually get on one at that price), though in fairness, production of each is limited to less than half of the 918 Spyder.
