1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa 2-door 3.2l on 2040-cars
Grand Prairie, Texas, United States
I would rate this car a 9+ out of 10. Always garaged, this car has just over 54,000 well documented miles. All standard with the exception of an upgraded AC system and Satellite Ready radio. Minimal wear-and-tear on the interior or exterior. The tires are nearly new as are the brakes. All interior carpets, seats, and upholstery show very little wear. The 3.2L engine runs solid and smooth with no leaks. There are just no problems with the car. It is being sold simply because it isn't being driven. I have owned the car for five years and have put less than 6000 miles on it. I was told by the dealer that I was the second owner of this vehicle. Shipping can be arranged at the expense of the buyer.

Overnight action from the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Sun, 23 Jun 2013We won't go into a recap here, but there are still leading positions being fought for in all classes - it's so close that leads are changing when a car goes into the pits. We'll let the recap wait until the end of the race, so for now enjoy some shots from last night's action at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Porsche goes karting in its Cayman GTS
Sun, 03 Aug 2014Think Mini is the king of Go-Kart Handling[TM]? Well, you might be mistaken, as Porsche proves here it's fully capable of delivering a driving experience that'd fit in quite nicely on a go-kart track.
Using a new and very red Cayman GTS, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer invades a kart track in northern Italy and sets the mid-engined sports car loose to slip, slide and zip its way around the circuit. As far as videos for Sunday evening go, this one ticks all the boxes.

Porsche gives Nick Murray exactly what he deserved [w/video]
Sat, 19 Apr 2014The tale of Nick Murray and his lemon Porsche 911 appears to have come to a satisfactory end. As noted in the original story about Murray, he and Porsche Cars North America met and came to a resolution. However, we didn't know exactly what that meant, until now.
Murray has created a new video explaining that PCNA offered to buy back the car at full price or give him an exact replacement for it. This was exactly what he was asking for. Murray remains pro-Porsche in the new video. "I am definitely considering reordering a Porsche 911," he says.
Porsche also posted a message on its Facebook page that clarified the situation. "We at Porsche have always sought excellence in all that we do. We know you expect it of us. And when we don't meet that standard, we make every effort to improve," said a portion of the note.
