You are bidding On my 1966 Porsche 911 VIN number 303595 That was a barn find. As it was explained to me by the previous owner he had bought the car in the late 70s With the Intentions of restoring it he had the motor rebuilt and had it repainted white from the orignal red but never got any further than that. So he loads it up in a straw wagon and sits it out by the street. I drive by, fall in love, being a air cooled VW guy and decide to buy it.
Since the car had been sitting for so long the calipers where rebuilt. The fuel tank was removed and cleaned and the fuel lines were cleaned. The original Solex carburetors where removed and saved and were replaced with rebuilt Zeniths. All original parts will be sold with the car.
The main issue with the car is the floors are rusty have holes. Floor pans are readily available through Stoddard Porsche parts.
To see a video of the car running and driving search Youtube under "66 Porsche 911 for sale".
I also have the full set of service manuals for this car that are being sold on another auction. Please check my other auctions.
If there are any other questions you may have or pictures you would like me to take OR if you are local would like to schedule to come look at the car, please do not hesitate to email me.
Thanks and happy bidding!

Get lost in Evo's sublime 2013 Car of the Year testing
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Every year Evo stages its Car of the Year test, bringing the best performance cars in the world to one location for an epic shootout. This year the magazine pitted eight CotY finalists against each other on Route Napoleon in Southern France - Evo claims it's the "best road in the world" - and then proceeded to nitpick the smallest of faults on each car until the winner could be named. You see, this year's lineup of machines was just so good that only one car obviously wasn't CotY material from the get-go. Can you guess which one judging from the list below?
- Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
- Audi R8 V10 Plus
Porsche Museum highlights history of the 911 RSR
Sat, 12 Jan 2013Porsche has amassed quite an impressive trophy case in just about every racing series it has ever entered, and one of its most dominant machines has to be the 911 RSR from the 1970s. Taking part in various GT-class competitions, the 911 RSR managed to take home three international and seven German victories in 1973, its very first year of competition.
Not one to downplay its racing successes, Porsche has released an informative video detailing the 911 RSR's impressive heritage. The 1973 RSR model owned by the Porsche Museum is detailed beautifully on video, and we have to say it looks absolutely stunning in its vintage Martini Racing livery.
Have a look at the video below for some historic racing action, along with static shots of one of our favorite Porsche models ever created.
Porsche slathers Martini livery on 911, Panamera, Macan and Cayenne
Mon, 20 Oct 2014This is how we imagine the conversation went in Porsche's Stuttgart headquarters: "Martini livery. Martini livery all the things." Okay, so maybe not, but that hasn't stopped Porsche from showing off images of its entire lineup bearing the iconic racing livery.
While we aren't sure about the questionably yellow 911 and lime green Macan, the navy blue Cayenne and the white Panamera both look pretty spectacular as they lap about the streets of Sochi, Russia.
As for why the liveried sports cars and crossovers were at the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics, we aren't totally sure. Porsche's Facebook page, where the images first popped up, was really light on details. Whatever the reason, we fully support Porsche doing more with Martini livery. Take a look at the full gallery to see what we mean.
