1994 Pontiac Trans Am in almost new condition. I bought this car from the original owner in 2011. He did not have interest in it any longer and just wanted to sell it and move on to something else. I have known the owner for 30 years so I know the history of this car. It had set stored for many years and needed just to be cleaned up. The original owner drove it a small amount each year just to keep it in great condition. It is like new condition inside and out. The car has the original window sticker and all maintainence records. You will get three die cast cars of the Trans Am to go with it. It was never driven in the winter weather and has only been in the rain four or five times. The car has 19,845 original miles and the original GM floor mats are in place and in great condition. The car is red with a darker gray interior that is in like new condition. The only thing that has been changed over the years is the battery, air filter (K&N) and the tires. The tires are new and should be good for a very long time. The 350 engine has only had Mobil One oil in it and it runs just great. The engine compartment is very clean. The paint has some swirl mark scratches, but nothing to take away from this beauty. The t tops are in very nice condition and work fine. It has the performance automatic transmission and it works great. You will have to look long and hard to find a 1994 Pontiac Trans Am in original condition this nice. The only problem that I see at this time is the air bag light is on. I don't know what is needed for this but I would guess that it is not a serious problem. It is my view that anyone would be more than happy to own this vehicle. General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]
Fri, 26 Aug 2011You don't have to be born in the 1960s or 1970s to be able to recognize the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard and the Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
More importantly, which of these two cars would you rather own? Have your say in our poll below.

Tue, 20 May 2014General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll
Tue, 25 Feb 2014
588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
