LS1 Power Go Baby Go!!!!

Up for sale is this amazing sports car. This is one mean machine. Our 2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 is a BEAST. It is powered by a 5.7L V8 LS1 with tons of upgrades. It has an aluminum block and heads along with aluminum long tube headers and a modular Loud Mouth Exhaust System with 2.5" dual tipsand no cats. It has the SLP High Flow Air Box and cold air induction package. The motor is cammed and has a mean lope to it that sounds amazing with the exhaust system. It looks to have the SLP package but we do not have any documentation for it. This WS6 has a functional ram air hood that gives a very aggressive look to the car along with the upgraded Torque Thrust II style wheels and the stopping power of the performance cross drilled slotted rotors. The upgraded suspension is amazing and this car handles like it should be on the track, taking turns with ease and holding all the way through while still accelerating. The T-Tops still look brand new and have no leaks and fit perfectly in their holder in the rear. It has an automatic transmission with a shift kit that will break the tires loose when it hits second and shifts through all gears perfectly. It has a beautiful leather interior that is very comfortable and race inspired. There is an aftermarket stereo so you can crank your favorite tunes while you drive. The a/c doesnt blow cold but im sure thats an easy fix. Overall this is a BAD A** new age muscle car that will out perform most and look good doing it. It runs very strong and drives smooth and FAST!!!

When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion. Next time, we won't feel so guilty about slipping that rusty charcoal grille onto the curb next to the cans on garbage day. Watch the carnage by scrolling below.

Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro

If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.

Tony Stewart to star in Smoke Is The Bandit web series

NASCAR driver Tony Stewart is making good use of his nickname Smoke in new videos inspired by the 1970s classic Smokey and the Bandit. The original is one of the quintessential automotive movies of its era with a fantastic combination of slapstick comedy and great car stunts in a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. If you've never seen it, check it out immediately.
In the new six-part Smoke IS the Bandit web series, Stewart takes on the role of Burt Reynolds' famous character complete with huge mustache. But instead of trying to smuggle cases of Coors beer it's Mobil 1 oil. The series promises to recreate many of the famous scenes from the movie and includes cameos from other NASCAR drivers.
To complete the look, future videos just need a quality replacement for a young Sally Field to ride shotgun. It would also be really cool if Reynolds could make a brief appearance at some point. Scroll down to check out the trailer and the first episode in the series.
